Can I suggest a book that has helped me IMMENSELY with my "binge monster"? It's called "Overcoming Binge Eating" by Fairburn. Please check it out if you truly suffer from this as I have most of my life.
I'd like to join the challenge. I've been "binge free" for the past 2 weeks and I'd like it to continue indefinitely:
Clean eating days:1
Binges: 00 -
I'm game but starting tomorrow since I've binged the last 2 days.
Yesterday I ate 2156 calories and 220 carbs and today ate 1629 and 197 carbs and probably 4 drank diet cokes. I'm in a weight loss challenge and had a weigh-in yesterday. The last 4 weeks I'm going to make sure I really toe the line without any binges (fingers crossed). I ate all the things I have been depriving myself of so hopefully I can get it out of my system (coconut cream pie, bread, chocolate cupcake, bread, potatoes, bread, biscuits, bread..I LOVE bread). I am feeling pretty bloated so hopefully I'm going to get over these urges to binge on starchy or sweet carbs.0 -
My favorite binges are ice cream and lots of it, best if it's chocolate!

No binges at all for the past 3 days! But I will only count July for the purposes of this challenge.
What about planned cheat meals? My bf and I are going out for all-you can-eat fish and chips (I will just stick to the fish, not a big fan of fries) I think that's okay as long as I jump back on track. What do you think?0 -

May this will encourage me to stay away from the chocolate, cupcakes and chips which I usually binge on 1 or 2 a week.0 -

Im back in after an eleven day binge and a gain off 5lb god I hate this Monster even though he has been by my side for the last eleven days ! We are not friends and he can get lost for a while.

wow I'm really glad to have found this, I didn't realise so many other people did this. I haven't had a binge in a week now and this has been the first weekend in a long while that I've stayed on track. I have a wedding evening reception to go to on 14th so I'm trying to stay binge free until then, then I'll be good in the day on the 14th but treat myself to whatever I want of the buffet in the evening. Then I am planning a hangover binge day the next day. Hopefully this will make me get right back on track after as my problem at the moment is that 1 binge day seems to turn into a week of binging.0

I'm in! This seems realistic for me, my aim will be to log honestly every day and not let my emotions abotage my food efforts.

^^I have the same problem. One binge will turn into 1 week binge! That's why I'm trying to crush the binge monster for good!0
