The first one of me at around 185 to 187 pounds (I am only 5ft 6" tall) on top of Arthurs Seat in Edinburgh.

This one is a similar weight to the above, my dad uploaded it to Facebook after my Grandfathers commemorative cup we play each year and is the photo that shocked me into doing something about my weight (taken summer 2010).

This pic was taken around February 2011 just after I had started in earnest but before I joined MFP.

12 pounds to go by alan.paterson20, on Flickr

I can nearly see the finish line (or is it the start?), around 7 pounds to go.

This is me at my ultimate goal of 140 pounds, around 46 pounds lost and circa 30% lighter.

I am now concentrating on lifting weights to get stronger and don't mind if I end up putting on a few pounds as I get fitter.

Ok, I've lost about 25 pounds- I'm 5'9, I've gone from about 220 (I didn't have access to a scale when I started) to 194. I am 26 and I don't remember EVER in my life being under 200 pounds (scary, I know). I've had a lot of injures recently, which has slowed my progress, but I'm just starting to be able to see it, so I'd like to post here! My goal is 170 pounds, and I'll see where I go from there when I hit it :) Once I fugure out how to re-size my photos, I'll post them here!

I love these threads. I am obese and after 3 kiddos I will never have a nice stomach.. my skin is to far gone. I often see the beautiful woman with flat stomachs on the new and feel so envious.. but I love that in these threads there are woman of all shape and size, and different starting points and you can usually find someone who started out like you and have an idea of what to aim for...

I bet you are all so very proud of how well you have done and how hard you have worked.
