So I cried today.

Not a lot. But I did. Why? well, I was at the mall (eh, yeah, me.. a rare occurrence)... I stopped at Foot Locker to get a new pair of Nike's. I haven't been in a foot locker in YEARS.. I bought my recent Nike's at Second Sole. Anyhow. So I am at foot locker, and after i pick out my shoes, I glance at some of the capri-style workout pants. they look really SMALL. So i pulled a pair off the rack, pretty sure they wouldn't fit, but what the heck. Now Foot Locker and a LOT of stores, don't carry plus sizes in my experience, so it's not some place I would normally shop for CLOTHES. I tried on the pair- SHOCK - they FIT. Not only did they fit, they were a tad loose. So, I thought, maybe I try on the next smaller size - no chance they would fit, but try anyhow. and. THEY FIT. A tad snug maybe, but they fit just the same. Then it hit me. I ... *I* don't buy clothes off the rack at the average store. I have to hit the plus size areas in stores that have them. All of a sudden i started crying. I don't HAVE to go to the stores that have the Plus Sizes anymore. I have to keep saying it over and over cause I just can't believe it. I'm far from goal, and I know it's going to take some time but, it... IT IS HAPPENING!!! :)

    Congratulations. You have done so well. I too was amazed when in a proper jeans shop with my hubby getting jeans for him and asked cautiously if they might have some in my size and the lady said we should have. Well i tried them on and they fitted I was so excited the other guy even said to my hubby gee she is excited. As I said to my hubby they might be the biggest in the store but at least I can now fit into them. Was such a good feeling to walk out of their with a pair for me also. Keep up the good work everyone.

    what a great feeling! you deserve the huge feeling of achievement! I hope you treated yourself to those pants, because If I had been in the store and seen you, I would have got them for you.
