I am a newbie both to MFP and to MYAC, but I am in.
Goal for the month is 60 Miles.
July 1-8 Total miles were 13.
July 9th = 3 miles

Mon 9th: Elliptical 7.26 miles
Total miles = 50.79
I made my goal for the month. This is the first time doing this so I didn’t know what to expect. Rather than upping my goal for the month, I’ll just take the success and continue on to see what I should set my goal for next month. I just started circuit training with a personal trainer, so how sore I am will dictate if I can do 100 miles a month.

Got in 15 miles this morning in 65 minutes. TRYING to peddle my @ss off! It was 70* with overcast so just about perfect!!!

nice work making goal early....i agree, dont up your goal, just keep doing what you can until 7/31 and then make august's goal somewhere close to what you do in july....

5K run in the evening heat and 6 miles bike.
Some trivia: There are now 189 people participating in the challenge. An incredible number which I can only attribute to the heat 130 people are doing this for the first time, 59 are repeat offenders, 11 are men :ohwell:
Interestingly enough 53 of the 62 immovable participants (85.4%) are newbies.

I figured my miles for this month before a friend offered me her exercise bicycle. My miles are adding up faster because of the bicycle.
