I am from Tennessee and yes, we do have brains, we do wear shoes, and no, I didn't marry my cousin.

Similar! I'm from Alabama, and yes, we have brains, we wear shoes, I didn't marry my cousin, and I don't have a dirt floor in my house..

"You live in Amarillo? Do ya'll still ride your horses to school?"

When I was in high school a man from Chicago was traveling through where I worked as a hotel desk clerk in western OK. He was bemoaning the fact that 24 hour movie theaters were practically non-existant. I said we had no need of them--we had lives. He asked what we did. When I mentioned riding my horse, he said, "WOW. You really do keep PET horses here??????" I had to admit that my horse did not actually earn his feed and would probably be well-defined by the word "pet." He said they'd told him that but he didn't believe it. "So," he then asked, "Does Oklahoma City have paved roads?"

Not one annoying statement about San Diego. It is just just too damned awesome here.

maybe someone from the albino community could complain about the sunshine? :)

San Diego has to be the best city in the U.S.

Sorry, but I also live in San Diego and it's not always sunny here. At this very moment, I'm sitting in my living room looking out the window and it's cloudy. From January til June, there were more cloudy than sunny days. I love San Diego, but it's definitely not the picture postcard everyone envisions.

Dont all you Kiwi's have relations with your sheep though?

Man that one would annoy me. Fortunately, I'm over in Australia :)

Pretty sure they say exactly the same thing about us...

I'm pretty sure the sheep sex thing is for Kiwis, not Aussies

I have heard them say the same thing about us.

Reno Nevada....Oh. Do you gamble a lot?
Nope. I don't even notice the slot machines in the grocery stores, car washes, Wal Marts, etc. anymore. And the casino floors are just some place I walk through to get to a dance floor or restaurant.

I lived in Alaska. "is it always cold and snowy?" "How do you get around?" I ride my polar bear, duh. I was thinking of upgrading to a grizzly but they have to be fed more and I can't afford it in this economy.

Oh, you live in the desert? It's 115 degrees? But it's a dry heat...

Yeah, just like turning my blow dryer on full blast in my face is a dry heat...

Hear this all the time!!!! Hot is hot! It being dry doesn make it any better!

I beg to differ on this. I moved to NV from S Georgia. In GA is would be 105 with 99% humidity. That is infinitely worse that 115 and 15% humidity. At least in the dry heat if you step into the shade it feels cooler...even if it is 115 outside.

I grew up in GA as well and then moved. I'll take the humidity. I also live in Tucson where we have monsoons in the summer as well so we have plenty of humidity with 115 degrees.

then there is the Your from "New JOIsey" I was on a cruise and almost threw muthafukas over board from hearing that so much.

You can probably blame Jersey Shore for that crap.
