I had a salad from Tossed at Westfield Stratford today, they make it up to your requirements. My salad consisted of mixed leaves, tomato, cucumber, roasted red peppers, sliced black olives, roasted salmon flakes with a fat free honey and lemon dressing. Not cheap, but worth it.

fat free honey and lemon dressing --that sounds delicious!

    Chayote
    bell pepper
    avocado
    Jicama
    broccoli slaw
    cucumber
    tomato
    Greens
    pickles
    hearts of palm
    artichoke hearts

This is what I'm trying next. Thank you! I had never thought about adding chayote or jicama to my salad! Mmm

I tend to keep it simple with romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and red peppers... plus a little salt and pepper, a drizzle of olive oil if my fat consumption is low for the day and balsamic vinegar. Many times I will also add some grilled chicken or teriyaki sauce basted grilled salmon.

I like fruit salads too. I love a Waldorf salad (apples, celery, grapes, walnuts and mayonnaise) which I plan to make this weekend with some low fat greek yogurt instead of the mayo.

    I adore the following salads:

    Baby spinach leaves
    Cherry tomatoes
    Feta cheese
    Baked tofu squares [blackened]
    Cucumber
    Banana peppers
    Fat free balsamic vinaigrette

Premium romaine mix [romaine, shredded carrots/purple cabbage]
    Bleu cheese crumbles
    Red bell pepper, sliced
    Fresh mushrooms
    Diced green apple
    Grilled chicken breast
    Fat free italian dressing

A great, low-cal, easy homemade dressing that I prepare is..

    Southwest spicy mustard- 10 tsp
Water- add until dressing consistency is reached!

I think I'm making a salad and an egg white omelet for supper!

I put mostly veggies (lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions) in my salads, but I dress with a grated hard cheese (25 calories in a TBSP), real bacon (usually one slice, center cut, about 25 calories), and a 20+ year balsamic vinegar (very sweet and tasty, about 15 calories per TBSP). The aged balsamic is the key. If you want to use regular balsamic, try reducing it down by heating it. That way, you need less or no oil. (A bit of oil is okay, but I'd rather spend my calories on bacon. :))

Lettuce, tomato, sprinkle of cheese, and a burrito.
    Now THAT'S a salad

I'll see your burrito and raise you a NY Strip

my favourite salad is a big bowl of spinach, shrimp and bacon. might throw some cucumber in there, too.

dressing: the bacon grease (olive oil if that's not enough) and then some parmesan cheese.

    Cucumber slices
Hard-boiled egg or a can of tuna
A dash of olive oil and generous amounts of white wine vinegar or seasoned rice vinegar

I love this salad dressing (but I make it with no butter, 1/2 the sugar, and EVOO instead of vegetable oil)

    I put it on:
    -Spinach
    -Salmon fillet
    -Strawberries

Romaine is good, and so are many other lettuces but Iceberg lettuce has no vitamins and isn't filling anyway, so there's not much point in eating it.

    Red leaf lettuce
    goat cheese
    blackberries
    spiced pecans

    blackberry/honey/balsamic vinaigrette

It's so amazing. I can't get enough of it.

    ^ Yum!

    Mine:
    Spinach
    Strawberries
    Avocado
    Turkey (Boar's head low sodium)
Paul Newman's Lite Honey Mustard (70 cal, 4g fat, 7g carbs)

    In my house we do..
    organic spring mix
    broccoli
    grape tomatoes
    sliced mushrooms
    chopped vidalia onion
    thin slices cucumber
    rotisserie chicken breast
cheese - muenster or pepper jack slice broken up into a million pieces
and dressing! I've been on a ranch salad spritzer kick lately and 10 sprays is only 15 calories.
