If you are bored I would like an opinion

I think the first one is better if you maybe where a shawl or a little jacket, necklace or something The second dress doesn't look formal, it looks like a causal dress.0

I seem to be alone on this:
but I'd go with the first one.
I find it sexy, but also formal looking / elegant.
The second one to me - seriously looks like an everyday dress, not formal at all - like not even formal enough for work in my opinion.0 -
Strapless for a night out, second one for a wedding.0

Only boring people get bored :-)
I like the second one, it really looks great on you!0 -
I vote for the second one also. You want to look great, but the trick is to not outshine the bride. This is HER day to stand out.
The first one? Wear it to a party. It's beautiful.0 -
I think they are both nice. Depends on how formal the wedding is though... considering it's your boss's daughter, I think the second one would be more appropriate.0
-
The 2nd dress for the wedding..... but dang girl. get that 1st dress on and go celebrate SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE!!0
-
Definitely the second dress for the wedding, but you look great in both! The second is just more appropriate for a wedding and work-related function -- classy.0
-
I like the second one better... especially for a wedding... you never want to show up the bride...0
-
Yeah the second one would be better. Need save the first one for a hot date. Lol0
-
Hmm I like the second one better.
If you go with the first one (I like that one too though - but like you said, it's sexy!), I would suggest maybe a brighter belt or a different colour at least (I'm not good with colours, but I think there should be another colour in there ) and then you could go with a light cardigan over your shoulders, either black or the same colour as the belt. even like a see-through type material, it would seem like you were more covered up that way. (a short sleeved one)0 -
I think you need a better outfit that does a little better job of hiding the belly.0

Kayla you are a very rude person, I dont think we need any of this negativity around here, and for your information Ashley looks better than you any day regardless of what she wears.0 -
I LOVE the second one and you look great in it!0

^^ Agree, we don't need negativity in a thread like this. I don't see a belly at all, by the way, Ashley, you look gorgeous. Ashley, she obviously feels threatened enough to be rude, so even though it was rude, take it as a compliment that she's threatened by how awesome you look in both dresses!0 -
2nd0

how about the black dress with a nice sheer black scarf or shawl? That would modify things a bit if you really wanted to wear it.0
-
Isn't it consider to wish the couple bad luck to wear black to someone's wedding? I love the dress, but resist wearing black to weddings!
You look hot either way!0 -
You look stunning in both but for a formal wedding my vote would go for the second dress0
-
I think the first one is nicer, but to formal-it-up I would add a cropped jacket (something sequin would be awesome!). Also, nude pantyhose and a close toe shoe ( e.g. a suede mid-height wedge) would soften the length of the dress, so it looks less party and more evening. The second one is nice, but to me it's too 'office' and not formal enough looking.0
-
Both look georgous on you but I personally would go with number 2.0

Wear what you feel most comfortable in. If you rarely ever get a chance to dress up, wear the first one!
That's what I did when I went to a wedding last year, I had lost a lot of weight and I never have the chance to get dressed up and I wore a little black dress, as long as you don't out-do the bride and wear white I don't see the problem
Here's me in my dress btw http://s1.dmimg.com/pictures/users/4448/1341147877_profile.jpg
I think you'll look fine, you look great in both. Do what you want, not what's considered 'socially acceptable'.0 -
I would wear the second. A wedding is not the time to be HOT like the first one is.0
-
IMHO I like the second one because it has more class. It's also elegant and sophisticated. Two things I love when it comes to wearing clothes:)0

opinion.
I'm with you! The second one looks like something I'd wear to work, rather than to a wedding.
Shame to see the dark colors, maybe dress the black strapless dress up with a large necklace and some chunky bangles, and matching shoes + clutch? perhaps go with a color - like, red necklace + bangles, with a red satin clutch and red heels, something that pops out.
The strapless dress was your first choice, so clearly it's what you'd prefer, you're just having doubts (: the second dress is too casual and not bright enough for a wedding, blow your co-workers away!0 -
You can dress down the first one with a nice cardigan or wrap. Personally I find the second one looks liek something I'd wear to work not to a formal celebratory occasion. Go for the first one, it's formal and elegant. It IS a bit sexy, but like I said, wear a nice cardigan (maybe in a brighter colour) and it will tone it down a bit.0
-
I hope you got the first one! I'd be trying to catch your eye all evening0
-
2nd one.0

As far as wearing black to weddings, it's really not been an issue in the last few years unless the people involved are extremely traditional (read: old fashioned). It's common to see black at any wedding I've been to in the last few years, and no one batted an eyelash at it.0

the 1st dress is really *kitten*-y...2nd less so (you asked!)0
