I love to geocache, too. I have nearly 3000 finds! Geocaching has helped me strengthen my ankles, knees & upper body (esp when going after those caches in trees!!). It's a great sport and alot of fun!!!!!! I also like to read. :)

How come we're not friends yet? :)

    I also like geocaching.

Googled it. Holy crap that looks like fun. I'm gonna try to get husband on board.

It really is fun. We do this, but I am not sure if I do it enough to call it my hobby. We do it a few times a year though and we have hid a few too.

I haven't looked at your profile yet, but I'm almost willing to bet the "SV" in your name is Sierra Vista? Only locals call it that and recognize it. Hello from another SV native :)

When you're not focusing on health or busy working, what do you like to do?

I love books. Any kind of book. I'm a book *kitten*.
I also like geocaching, something that makes most people say "WTF is that?"
After geocaching, I grab another book.
Cooking, via a grill or smoker makes me very happy. Especially when I have to buy a book on different techniques.

That's all I've got. What's your happy thing?

Holy Hell!!!! I thought my fiance and I were the only ones that enjoyed geocaching. We actually just started, unfortunately haven't found any yet. Can't find a good app for it. Any suggestions?

If you have a Droid, go for C:geo (not sure if it's available in the iPhone). The satellite images are fabulous, I can usually pinpoint where a cache is just from the images before I get there (ie..."OK, the next one should be in the third pine tree from the left"), I rarely use the compass. If you're willing to pay for an app, the one created by geocaching.com is great too.

I only have one hobby and that is metal detecting. I use a Minelab Etrac. I have hunted all over the country and have found some really nice finds, coins, rings etc. I am out of the detecting business until my knee heals.
