    "Dude"
    "You know"
    "You know what I mean"
    "I hear ya"

All of these are used way too often, and they actually make me cringe when I hear them over and over again!.

When people say "Literally" when they mean "figuratively."

    "I'm literally starving to death."

When people say "they say" all of the time to bolster their statement or argument. Who the eff are they?? If you can't remember to give me specifics then I am not taking what you say seriously. :explode:

supposably. That is NOT a word!!

I also hate the "You can't have your cake and eat it too" expression. If you give me cake I'm gonna f***ing eat it. That's why I'm here. If you try to give me cake and tell me I can't eat it I'm going to take a *kitten* on the hood of your car.

but if you eat it, you don't have it. that's the point!

I hate that saying too. It does incite the need for a good car ****ting. Too funny! And, even if I ate my cake I would still have it too, in my belly!

    "Winning"
Some of the new expressions are better than some of the old ones like

F$^%-in (as a pronoun for everything) ( guess this is still the most popular one)
    "can't dance" (what?)
"i see said the blind man"
    "it's not you, it's me" (ha-ha)
    "to fat to fly"
"go mow the lawn" (I never understood that one)
"if I was that fat, i would hide" ( pretty crappy saying, but I used to hear it)

Heard a comedian once joke about the expression "there's more than one way to skin a cat"....he said "how many ways do you need?!"

    I've always agreed.

I also hate the "You can't have your cake and eat it too" expression. If you give me cake I'm gonna f***ing eat it. That's why I'm here. If you try to give me cake and tell me I can't eat it I'm going to take a *kitten* on the hood of your car.

oh em gee you had me rolling! haha

    "I'm literally starving to death."

But.. you would never say "I'm figuratively starving to death."

When girls use " jelly" as jealous..... wtf!
My boyfriend said that once to me..... key word.... once.
Also i use to go to High School with this one girl who would always talk in "text-talk", for example "brb" , "lol"
But yet some how she was a popular girl... go figure.

"I know, right" - soooo sick of that one.
"It is what it is" - I despise someone that used to say that all the time, so when I hear it I want to scream.
"to tell the truth..." - does this imply you were thinking of lying to me???

Don't know if this one is said but..."I don't want to sound mean but..." Or on fb I see people put rude comments and then LOL afterwards. LOL Does not soften the blow if you just told me what a b!tch I am. And if you have something to say just say it, it might sound mean but if I need to hear it so be it.
