Voskos Greek yogurt w/ honey is THEE best ever. It even has granola with almonds on the side that you can add as little or as much as you want. Its a must try.

When I first started MFP I was having trouble getting enough protein. Everyone kept telling me about Greek yogurt. I tried the stuff and hate it. It is sour and tastes like sour cream. Is there a variety that doesnt taste so sour?

Hehe, maybe thats why I love Greek Yogurt because I love sour cream (especially on pickles LOL)! :)

I'm a Chobani fan :) I get a big tub of the Vanilla or plain and add my own ingredients! Their Champions Choclate Chunk is a great dessert!! :)

I love it - I make some every week, from a gallon of whole organic milk - get about a 2 quarts of yogurt. If I have to buy it I like Oikos (sp?) the best. I also love cooking with it, or making a fruit smoothie with it.

Chobani Pineapple. I might try plain Fage and add my own pineapple though. For some reason honey flavored yogurts make me feel like I'm going to hurl.

Green Mountain Creamery, a fairly new one made in Vermont--great protein and really good taste, a little sweeter than I might like, but the maple is great--so are th rest of them.
  • I eat Chobani, I'm not a fan of the plain stuff, so I usually go for the fruit ones.

I love Chobani and Fage, honey especially. Never ever thought that I would like it, but it is now a daily staple.

Greek Gods traditional plain (full fat). Taste and texture is just like the yogurt I ate in Greece (with honey and walnuts) for breakfast every day. The last few days this has been my snack:

    1/4 c. diced mango
    1/4.c. fresh blueberries
    1/4 c. fresh raspberries
topped with 1/4 c. GG plain yogurt.

I put it in a 1 cup plastic Ball container and it looks like a parfait. Pretty and yummy and 130 calories...can't beat that!

If you're looking for something really smooth, Noosa makes the "finest yoghurt." The culture is made in Australia and then the yogurt itself is made in Colorado from a family-owned dairy farm. They've got a few flavors with mixed in fruit purees, but my favorite is the honey flavor with a half cup of granola and some fresh fruit. Everyone I know loves it and I'm completely addicted.

It's still a pretty small franchise, and probably sold in states mostly closer to Colorado, but I think they just started selling in SuperTargets, along with regular supermarkets.

I like the Fage 0% yogurt; I get the large container and add a teaspoon of any flavored fruit spread, and it's the same thing as buying the already flavored stuff but much cheaper! For dessert or mid-morning snack, I'll add fruit and it satisfies my cravings for ice cream!

Fage. Sometimes I make a chocolate milk shake with it: half a cup of Fage, half a cup of Silk Dark Chocolate Almond Milk, 1-2 tbsp of peanut butter; 2 scoops protein powder, and a few ice cubes. Ummmmm.
  • I take the plain Greek yogurt and mix Ms. Dashes southwest Chipotle with it (let stand in fridge for an hour) to make a dressing for my “taco” salad… Yum!

Oikos Key Lime, with a half packet of Stevia mixed in. It's orgasmically good...and high in protein.

The only issue is that it's constantly sold out, I have to super stock up when I can find it at the various places that sell it :)

Chobani 2% strawberry banana! The 0% apple cinnamon is also good.

Oh, and the Yoplait Greek coconut too. :)

One of the foods I miss, as a vegan. My favorite was Fage. Just the plain variety.
