Sorry, I just think you're bragging.

kinda agree, you know you're doing enough when it's 2-3 hrs a day.....

yeah 2-3 hours seems a lot........ dont know why the OP felt she needed to ask if it was enough in the first place :ohwell:
Also nobody can really answer this question for you . None of us are in your body. We cant feel your exhaustion, see your weekly progress or how your muscles feel. You know what needs work.
Unless I was your personal trainer and met with you on a weekly basis- I honestly have no idea how to answer this.

Thank you all for your opinions and comments! I know people my age who run a lot more and bike a lot more, so honestly I wasn't sure if classes are enough.

I'm not trying to brag at all. I'm concerned i'm not getting enough variety, as I am not losing weight, i'm eating clean and watch my carbs. I'm actually very frustrated!

All I have to say is that I'd hate to see how much you have to eat to keep up with all that!

Well it depends on what you're trying to achieve, if your training for something specific it sounds great. If it's to lose weight and improve your body I'd say it's waaaaay too much!

You are not eating back your exercise calories.
    That can stifle progress.
MFP suggests a daily net calorie intake to result in 1 lb of weight loss per week.
    1 pound equals 3500 calories.
3500 divided by 7 days equals 500 calories per day. Our MFP daily number already has that 500 calories subtracted.
When we exercise, that green number goes up, because MFP expects us to eat back your exercise calories to keep your net daily calorie intake steady; that's how MFP works. Read this to learn more.

Just follow the MFP recommendations for healthy, steady and lasting results.
You could reduce quicker, but what would be the quality of that weight loss?
It could lead to increased muscle loss, and that stifles metabolism.
No, eat right, exercise - both cardio and resistance, lose weight in such a way that maintains health and preserves lean body mass which burns more calories at rest.
    Good luck to you.:flowerforyou:

If you are working out that much and not losing weight, are you eating cosnistently your body will go into starvation mode if you work out without replacing andy of the calories. so eat good food, small meals inbetween your routine.

I just noticed too that you are doing BodyPump everyday. You should be doing weights/strength every other day, unless you do legs one day and arms the next, etc. With this routine you should be eating a whole lot in order to have a small calorie deficit (500-750 calories).

If you're dedicating that much time to working out with no results. I'd stick to 60-75 mins per day (5-6 days) and up the intensity!!

Are you eating enough? You must be burning quite a lot with all those workouts. Are you shrinking at all...have you done measurements?
  • If you're doing THAT MUCH and not losing any weight, perhaps your body is already at a happy weight right now. Maybe if you switch out some cardio for some weight-lifting that might help give you some variety and a metabolism boost by building muscle. But I don't really know. All I know is I wish I had time for all of that....

You don't have a lot to lose, so that can make for very slow going. I'm guessing you're not eating all those exercise calories back and your metabolism is slowing down. I do three Pump classes a week (love 'em!) plus lots of cardio, and I started losing more weight when I ate more. A note on Pump/weight training -- knowing the classes well, I would really suggest skipping a day in between them. There's no recovery time there, which is critical.

Sounds great, its a lot of cardio with a mix of strength training. Everyone's idea of too much or too little is different. What works for one person isnt always the same for someone else.
If you feel you can push yourself like you are, more power to you honey. Bravo for staying active. You are sure to see results as long as your food intake matches with healthy choices.
DO YOUR EXERCISE THINGS, there is no such thing as TOO much exercise as long as your doing it safely!

I would drop half those group classes and focus on stationary strength training plus intense cardio. That's just me.
