I *love* tofu shirataki noodles and eat them at least once per day. If you rinse them well and dry-fry them, as I described, they taste fantastic.

I did exactly this once before, rinsed well, dry fried them and then added veggies for a stir fry. they were so disgusting!! The texture was too rubbery...reminded me of squid or something
I agree they made me gag. I wish there was a way to make them not so squidy.0 -
Looks great, but I'm sure it has way too many carbs... but thanks for sharing!
these noodles are actually low carb.

I can never find shirataki noodles I want.
The tofu ones are normally in the produce aisle near the bean sprouts and other tofu products! This is the case for shaws, stop and shop, and whole foods! (trader joes doesn't have them)0 -
Yum! I love that it is also a gluten free option.0

Bumping this
I tried a random stir fry before with the shirataki noodles. I dry fried them and to me they had the consistency of over cooked noodles. I can deal with over cooked noodles They clumped together a bit so be sure to separate them.
I found mine at Whole Foods and Cub Foods (Whole foods had a larger selection)
EDIT: I made this for dinner...OMG WONDERFUL! The noodles really don't have a taste to them. They were still clumping together after I took them from the bag (I rinsed while in the bag) and spread them in the pan. This will forever be my spaghetti substitute! So flavorful and so low in cals I had enough enough for 2 people0 -
tentatively bump. Still scared of those noodles.0

I was too but I followed her dry-fry thing and they really don't taste like any thing. Just over cooked noodles (consistency) so it is a bit "chewy-er".0
