I work for Thomson Reuters selling legal solutions to law firms via web-ex's and teleconferences all day. I force myself to get up and walk around. Because there are 8,000+ employees parking tends to be a chore and at least I get a good 1/2 mile walk in and out each day! I sell Pure Romance on the weekends :)

I'm a desk jockey. Work as an operations manager for a green roof manufacturer. I get most of my work exercise from walking to the water cooler and ladies room all day. :)

I am the marketing director for a manufacturing company in CO. I walk around the office a lot during the day but I haven’t ever counted that in when calculating calories burned. However, I have two dogs so after work each day I take them on a 3 mile walk and on both Saturday and Sunday my husband and I bike ride between 10-15 miles each day. So I am definitely compensating for the lack of physical activity during my work day :o)

  • I am currently working at Mcdonalds, and while trying to lose weight it isn't easy. You would think that working there makes you not want to eat it, but it doesn't. Anyone feel free to add me, I need some encouragment! I have lost 14 pounds so far with about 100 left to lose.
  • I am a 3rd grade teacher. I walk all over the room while I'm teaching, I never stand still. I have had a few "runners" (students who run away when in trouble/frightened). Kids keep you moving. I always have more trouble with my weight in the summer because I am less active. I'm trying to change that.

Im a technical sales specialist for a bank. I work from home 4 days a week. At first i found my self gaining a few pounds since i started working from home and realized that i was eating alot more than i was used to when i had to commute into the city. This is most likely becuase the food is always in front of me at home and would easily nibble on my 4 yr old snacks here and there. Now i make sure i have healthy snacks for the most part and stay concious of my calorie intake.

I am currently an RN I work a 3-11:30pm shift but have been on light duty for over a year due to a wrist injury, so I don't get to walk around as much as I used to. But, I am done being a nurse the middle of August as I will be in school full-time again. That will be back to sitting a lot in class, studying at home and during lab times.

I work in an office in the courthouse.

I do park my car two blocks away so I get a good 5 min walk in the morning and another in the afternoon. I try to get up and stretch often, and I go down two floors to grab papers from the clerk of court. Other than that, I don't have much activity.

My other "job" is teaching belly dance class once a week. That ends at the end of the month as our studio is closing, but I've been asked about private lessons by students, so I'm hoping to continue teaching.
