    A few of them:

"This is a good weight for my height"

    "I carry my weight well"

"It doesn't matter what I weigh, I have a good personality"

that I am happy despite my weight. Sure I am happy as long as I cant see myself, but every time I catch my reflection in a mirror or a window I want to curl into the fetal position and start sucking my thumb. I just dont look good. I dont mean attractive or hot, I mean healthy. I didnt look healthy...but I am getting there! Since joining this site I have paid more attention to everything I am eating and doing and I have also noticed that my skin looks better...more alive.

My biggest lie: When asked my weight on forms and things, I would put my weight from before college. Never would I admit my actual, current number.

"It's genetics - everyone in my family is big." LIE - both my parents are slim and aside from a few years here and there, they've always been. Yes I've got some cousins and aunts who are overweight but it has nothing to do with genetics

"I eat pretty healthy, it must be my metabolism." LIE - I ate mostly healthy foods but my portions were WAY too big. Plus I'd always conveniently forget about the snacks I would sneak in almost every day.

"I hate exercise". No, I actually really enjoy exercising and even love running now!

You guys are incredible, because you acknowledge it!

My other one... "My boobs make me look bigger than I really am."

I used this one too!

It's hard to lose weight in winter, the lack of calories make me so cold and cranky all the time - I'll wait until it warms up.

    .... then ....

Both heat and hunger make me into a *****. I just can't bring myself to put my family through that. - So, ethically, I can't diet until it cools off.

My license says I'm 130. I haven't been 130 in about 13 years but when I go to renew it and they ask me if everything is current I always say yes. :blushing: My GW is actually 145. I'm thinking if I get fit and weight train my wieght will land at about 140-145 and that is just fine by me.

Ok I guess that's a lie I've told someone else....

I carry my wieght well - Until I look a photos and realize I don't
I'm going to start on Monday - I meant next Monday, I meant next Monday
Ok I'm really going to start getting up earlier so I can exercise. Never happens.

When they take the photograph, I'll look a whole lot thinner if I stand behind all the other people.
