The Perfect Week
I keep finding myself going through periods (of days) where I am doing all the right things, then periods (sometimes weeks) of doing all the wrong things. With this in mind, I have decided to do what I am going to call a "Perfect Week Challenge". I am going to have it in writing exactly what I am going to eat, scheduled…

Add Link to "How to Measure" on Measurements page
On the Measurements page, the default options are "Weight", "Neck", "Waist", and "Hips". I believe it would be useful to have a link on the page on how to measure your Neck, Waist, Hips, and other body parts. I'm sure this page already exists somewhere, but it isn't linked to the Measurements page.

Starting Over
Hello all! My name is Nikki. Last year, my son, Jack, and I left my ex after a very messy, scary break-up and I’ve spent this past year focused on Jack. Therapy, trauma play, and learning how I could be a better parent for him. He’s very protective of me so a big part of his therapy has been showing him that I am strong…

Workout partners/accountabilibuddys
Hi just curious do people prefer working out by themselves or with a partner or group or even trainer? I have made quite a bit of progress over the summer by myself but I do miss working out with my uni's weightlifting society - I just find it more fun and energising and I have people to correct my form etc. For privacy I…

IBS & Stool Tracker
This could be a feature where you log your stomach pain and stool consistency/composition (I know this is disgusting but it’s just something that we need to keep track of). It could be on scales from 1-10 or it could be image-based (like emojis showing different levels of discomfort). The latter feature would also be…

Not new, but new goals
Returning to MFP after several years away with all new goals and lifestyle. I used to use MFP religiously years ago when I had an ED. Now I’m 7 years recovered, and this time I’m here to refocus on my health, eat enough (as I developed a bad habit of undereating due to ADHD meds), stay active, and especially, gain muscle…

Please help me understand....motivation/support
Hi All, I have been on MFP since January 2023 and am doing very very well!!! Started at 293 lbs and am currently at 218 lbs. However, this is my first time posting in the forums. My question is (and I mean no disrespect or to throw shade at anyone) but what do people mean when they say they need motivation or support? Like…

add an option for entering mg or percentages for vitamin a, c, d, iron, and calcium.
I was double checking my vitamins to see what information was listed in the app compared to the bottle; and it seems that companies usually list the dosages of each ingredient in mg instead of a percentage. I found that lots of vitamins that have been entered in the database already have put in the mg count instead of…

New to this, hoping to become a pro!
Hello everyone, happy to be here and hoping to stay motivated. I’m fifty and have about fifty lbs to lose. I’ve been on the weight gain journey for about 6 years now. Moving, knee injury, and entitled attitude (if I want to eat it, dammit I will) and stress have all contributed to where I am now. This thing called “old…

Vitamin D and covid
I watched this video recently. John Campbell presents the evidence that vitamin D reduces the risk of admission to ICU for covid related complications. https://youtu.be/x5sc7G4s4CY Does anyone have any criticisms about John Campbell and how he interprets research? Shouldn't he also be critiquing the evidence that vitamin D…
