Hoping to lose 20 pounds
I put on 20 pounds after the pregnancy. I found that my weight stays the same even though I am trying to eat a little bit less than before and be more active. I miss these days when I didn’t need to worry about my weight.

Fasting issue
Hi all, Anyone not liking the fasting way it records? I’m intermittent fasting for the past month and I don’t think it’s been thought out well enough. In regards the recording, I often complete more than 24 hours or short breaks to eat which the app doesn’t like. Would be great to have monthly statistics kicked out also.

Deja vu with a touch of evolution
I originally was using MyFitnessPal back in 2019 and lost around 28 or so pounds after having our third baby in Aug of 2018. After going back and forth about my weight and what I was going to do about it, I finally put my dang foot down and took a stand!!! :) I am targeting the loss of 65 pounds and am being generous with…

Calorie deficit
I do 16:8 IF and eat Lunch and dinner and nothing in between. If I burn 600 calories according to my Apple Watch fitness ring and basal metabolism is 1300 calories, how many calories should I be eating daily to create a deficit and see 1-2 pounds weight loss weekly? Also, I am vegan so how much should my Carb:Fat:protein…

I'm intermittent fasting for weight loss, anyone else?
Hi, Anyone here intermittent fasting? I started 5 weeks ago at 12-12 and gradually decreased the window to 16-8, now it tends to be 1 meal a day. I can easily go 24 hours without food now without feeling the slightest bit hungry. I've started to notice how much I'm now struggling to actually eat, yesterday I had Cajun…

Intermittent Fasting and Working out
Hello all, I've recently restarted IF 16/8 and it has helped me get past a plateau with my weight loss/fitness. My fasting begins at 9PM and ends at 1PM to correspond with my work hours-ish. Problem is, I was going to the gym in the morning around 9AM, and I find that I am light-headed doing the workouts I was doing…

IF(currently 20:4 mostly) and sporadic EF, with lower carbs, crossfit/lifting plus long distance wal
Hi all, I have been intermittent fasting for several years now, though in the last couple of years struggled with having shorter eating windows....so I did a lot of 2mad with a 6-7 hrs window. That said, I've recently fallen into a 20:4 pattern with some days of 2mad (without limiting time) to fit my life. I am training to…

Does anyone else experience mental struggles in intermittent fasting or ADF
Intermittent fasting is seemingly as simple as a diet plan can get: Eat. Stop eating. Eat again. So, why all the mental struggle around eating or not eating within a short window? For me, there are two distinct struggles. 1) Calming myself that I'm not causing any damage from loss of nutrients during the fast. 2) Calming…

Intermittent fasting & calorie count
Hi everyone my name is Michelle. I started intermittent fasting without realizing a year ago. And then this past July I started tracking it. My baseline usually last between 16 hours to 24 hours sometimes 42 hours. Although, yes I eat in the greenlight foods because I’ve overcame food addiction. I feel calorie counting may…

Starting Intermittent Fasting.
Is anyone doing intermittent fasting and it works for them? What are you eating for your first meal? I typically don't eat breakfast as it is, so I thought I'd try this. I haven't been losing weight just not eating breakfast and starting my meals around 12, but I think that's more to what I'm eating the rest of the time.…

Flexible fasting options
Not being able to customize the fasting and eating window is a serious lack of usability for experienced intermittent fasters. I was excited to hear that this app supported intermittent fasting but my protocol is 20:4 or OMAD and not included in the three preset options. I'm looking at paying for my fasting app instead of…

Challenge, Reflection, and Looking Forward
Mucho Gusto! I started using this app on the sixth, reintroduced myself to my Fitbit yesterday the seventh, and started the Jumpstart your Health Challenge yesterday as well. When I previously tried to use an app to track my calories I found it difficult and burdensome. There was no motivation and I did not see benefit in…

G'Day from Down Under!
I just discovered this site and I love it! I live on Bribie Island in Australia. I am retired and have been off and on diets since I was 8 years old. I have learned a lot about myself and nutrition. When I was 14 I developed my own diet and lost 20 lbs in two weeks! But we all know you can't keep that up. I have set myself…
