I am six months out from RNY, and experienced the expected hair loss four months post op. The hair loss seems to be slowing now. I was curious about when others who had hair loss noticed hair regrowth?

Exercise....What is everyone doing?
Exercise....we hate the word and some of us may dread having to do it everyday, but let's be honest. We HAVE to do it! I'm just curious what everyone did after their surgery to keep fit and what they are still doing today. ~Windy

FYI- my stats after RNY
I just sent these in a message top someone so I thought I'd also post them here. I had RNY in 2008. I know we're all different and lose at different rates, but I'm a numbers junkie and though it might give someone an idea of what you could expect after RNY. Also, here's a good link to see what you could possibly lose:…

 I started the path to have LapBand surgery last November. I have alot of the Co-Morbidities except diabetes. My PC doc suggested I see my surgeon and the surgeon approved me - after a very lengthy psych eval, dietician eval, bloodwork, cardio testing. Unfortunately the Insurance company did not. They required (just…

Has Anyone Else Had Belly Button Leakage After RNY?
This may sound gross, but has anyone else had problems with belly button leakage? I have had it in the past, but figured it was from a really tiny hernia that is practically undetectable. This time it is almost like a pus, and just wondering if anyone has either had something similar or heard of it before. I plan on…

I have been really watching what I eat and workingout the last 3 months and have seen no weightloss. I have gotten rid of a couple inches. Yesterday I went to see my…

Hi new to the group! :)
Hello. I just recently started using MFP and I am really liking it. I basically hate logging calories and such because it gets so tedious and time consuming. I found this and wish I would have discovered how easy it was sooner. I have the app on my phone so I can log where ever I am. Anyway a little bit about me. I was…

Trouble "owning" the weight loss
I"m really struggling with owning my weight loss, after lossing 60 pounds, it's hard for me to take a compliment, and I feel embarrassed when people look at me and say how great I look. I feel naked if my clothes are fitted at all... it's weird. I didn't expect this. I thought I would want to show it off and really be…

I had my 6th month post op visit today! According to their scale I lost 104 pounds, my scale says 100. Everything else went pretty quickly. I saw a friend that I haven't saw in a few weeks today. She said that my pants were too big. I told her that they weren't because I just recently started wearing 10's. She laughed and…
