I prelog food and recipes and only give myself what I already know I can have.

That's definitely one way to do it but, don't make any plans for a few days if you do because you won't be going anywhere besides the bathroom. I do not recommend.

I just get egg fried rice and egg drop soup. But, I get that no matter what.

It means that food has a lot of Cals for not a lot of quantity. Like an oz of almonds is very calorie dense. Spinach is very not calorie dense.

I usually prelog 2 weeks at a time. Things get moved around sometimes but, at least I know calorie wise what I can have for each meal. Very few Ppl do what I do but, I do also for groceries because then I only get what we need.

I suffered from some pretty epic OCD about 10 years ago. I almost drove myself to a nervous breakdown. I have been lazy lately but, generally I prelog about 2 weeks at a time. Things change but, at least this way I have a good base going. It can be difficult but, once I got the hang of it it helped with my grocery budget and time management.

Funnel cakes have powdered sugar, elephant ears usually have cinnamon sugar and are usually crunchier in parts than a funnel cake. I prefer elephant ears to funnel cakes but, I hate powdered sugar.

If you entered your info and goals correctly mfp will help you lose weight. Even if it doesn't appear possible. Obviously barring any medical issues that would make the algorithm not as accurate. It does work for most Ppl though.

You can eat what you like as long as you don't eat more than your maintenance number. I switch between sausage patties and bacon for breakfast. My bacon is Plumrose bacon is 80 cals for 2 slices.

Stop trying making things more complicated than they need to be. Worry about calories and get a handle on that. I lost over 40 lbs focusing on cals alone. Set your goal to maintain your weight and eat exercise cals. If you begin to lose weight then adjust goals to gain .5 lbs a week.

As teachers use to say in school "keep your eyes on your own paper". Everyone loses differently and you are losing so stop worrying about what he is getting and doing. My husband gets to eat twice as much as I do and lose 2 lbs a week while I lose half a lb. It is what it is.

My favorite is a local bakery in a town I grew up in called Fingerhut bakery but, there is a local grocery store where I live now that makes good donuts Martin's grocery store. I literally hate Krispy Kreme donuts. The smells makes my stomach hurt. The glaze is just atrocious!

We rotate about 30-40 meals but, our top five are tacos, cubed steaks and potatoes, Anniversary chicken, crockpot chicken pasta, and spaghetti bake. Probably not the healthiest but they are super filling. My healthiest meal is usually lunch though.
