  • Powder, I like Isopure and Optimum Nutrition's Hydro Whey. Pre-made I like Core-Power and Muscle Milk makes a smoothie that's not horrible but anything else Muscle Milk tastes horrible to me. I love Quest bars the best. Premier Protein bars are a second and in a pinch Muscle Milk's peanut butter cookie flavor.

  • So true. I lost over 100 pounds in 9 months, lost half my hair and scared the crap outta myself. After being so crazy I went off the deep end and regained 30 pounds. I'm still struggling to get myself back together. Listen to these people. Fast isn't better. Healthy and sustainable is best.

  • So glad you are upping your intake, OP. Quoting this so the list of effects are visible again. I've lost a lot of weight very fast and I can tell you I've dealt with EVERYTHING on that second list and I can only hope I didn't cause any lasting problems.
  • The label will usually tell you, otherwise measure in the state it comes in. For example, one particular brand of bacon I purchased said 2 slices (15g) as cooked BUT another package of bacon said 2 slices (85g)... so not cooked.
  • That's a good guard. I wish I would have found that kind. This one is the one I have and I hate it. It holds water and it stretched a bit. If I wear the split on the outside it catches yarn when I crochet. If I wear it with the split on the inside one of the rings works it's way out.

  • Yup. I sometimes have my coffee with a scoop of whey, collagen and cocoa powder. It's pretty good like that. If you mix it well it will foam up like a latte.
