thats good news i am stuck too, have been same for a month, so am upping my calories for a few weeks with the hope of a kick start for the new year. Also it takes the pressure off for christmas. i knew i would hit a plateau after consistently losing for seven months so i am prepared for it.

i like the pink and blue ones. I have found a replacement, in walkers french fries and quavers (84 cals) and they are a treat on a saturday.

I am just grateful i am not the only one. Since october i have basically stopped exercise. I used to run of an evening, but its so dark and cold i just want to veg. I cant be bothered to leave the house when its dark to go to the gym. I have however stuck to my calories, and been walking more in the day with my kids and at…

everyone is different and i agree with the others lots of cardio and fat burning weight training. Although bizarrely i dont have a muffin top, that went quickly i have a baby belly i cant shift (last son 10lb 3 i blame him). So there you are we all keep it in different places.

I always try to be. I talk to random people at gym about getting fit and the losing weight journey. I find the nature of this site means we can be a bit more supportive and understanding. i like the ping of the email when one of my online friends has congratulated me on a loss or a good day really bouys me up. I have found…

i do it 2 or 3 times a week when i cant get to the gym. It definately works that way for me, interpersed with a run, weight etc.

I ran 5k two days ago and every week i knock a few seconds and the odd minute off it and i know i can do better. Six months and two weeks ago i wheezed walking up the hill to drop the kids off. This is my accomplishment, i like exercise!

I dont care about the photos just the text is inspiration enough. I am 67 lbs down and still away to go, so well done you and i hope i can be just as successful.
-
WEll done you. I know how i felt when i made it under 200 so enjoy!

I am exactly the same. I can spot on with most things most days but my sugar is always over. I cant win, i nibble an apple, or orange or grapes when hungry to take of the edge. I dont want to give up fruit i like it and it helps me when i am feeling nibbly or bored.

You look fantastic! i must pull my finger out and catch up with you!

THe other girls beat me to it but next and m&S so decent sizes. I favour the m&S clothes as they tend to have a higher waist and when i run they dont fall down, the fancy labels sit on the hips and just fall off me! Congrats on the loss so far
-
Well done you! i am working up to it very slowly!
-
Congrats on the loss! and the baggy pants. I have ebayed lots of stuff and bought lots of stuff in charity shops and sales. Dropping from a max size 26 to 16 (UK) has taken its toll on my husbands wallet. I think if he hears i need new pants once more he will make me eat cake! Well done and keep it up

Very funny stories. When i got my fake tan done the other day, the beautician told me i had great legs, really defined. i looked at her non-plussed, then shot home and looked in the mirror to check. Thanks MFP.

John Fasinating article and some real 'food' for thought, normally save the paper until the afternoon but had a quick peek and read this. I am losing weight (again) and will always be in recovery, the interesting thing for me is the psychlogy of it all. I dont think i will ever get to the bottom of why i feel the need to…
