When you mean "Atkins style" what level carbs are you talking about? Yes, you will need to keep up with the low carb but low carb for you might be 100 grams. that definitely allows you some fruit. :-)

1lb a week is probably too much when you only have 10lb or so to go. You might actually lose faster set for 0.5lb a week.

Around 120-125. I've been lower and than that and I look emaciated heroin chic thin. Not a good look in my opinion. I need muscle tone.

Gadgets keep me motivated. HRMs in general can't accurately monitor any exercise which isn't just cardio. They measure heart rate, pilates is great for overall fitness but doesn't get the blood pumping in quite the same way and thus they can't calculate it.

Phew. I thought this was going to be really tough but so far I'm finding it pretty easy. I really like being able to have a carby break at the weekend without ruining everything. Sure, it'd be faster if I didn't but I quite enjoy the process of getting into ketosis - observing when it hits and how I feel. :-)

I have my macros at 65:35:5 F:P:C - this, at my current 1500 calorie level gives me around 20g of carbs a day. I find it pretty easy to eat all the fat and sometimes exceed ity considerably. I'm not fasting as such but I typically don't eat until noon and am trying to push that out further and further each day. 2pm today - maybe 2:30 or more tomorrow. I think this is why I find it easy to get back into keto after carb up days.
