215 reps (4 rounds plus 35) LOVE this workout! I may do it again on Monday just for fun, and to try to complete the 5th round. I was only 10 reps away.

Yes!!!! I floss, brush, wash, and drink a big glass of water. So when I do get the urge to eat later that night, I think...naaa, why waste all that time I spent cleaning and then I have to do it again...no way......works well for me!

here's the crossfit mainsite http://www.crossfit.com/, they will give you a workout of the day (WOD). Beginners will need to scale it down quite a bit usually. A lot of things may be difficult to do in a regular gym or at home but if you read the comments you will see people asking for substitutions for movements which are…

It took me awhile to get them, here's a few tips i learned: It's mostly in the wrist, find a comfortable position and keep your elbows near your torso, you may have a tendency to move them out. find a spot on the wall eye level and keep your eyes fixed there. start with singles but jump higher as if you were doing doubles…

Good article, I think they have LSU and Notre Dame too high, and T A&M a little low. I am really looking forward to the T A&M and BAMA game next year! Roll Tide!

I love that! I wish you luck and prayers!

:noway: This is good info, even though she has "wareagle" in her profile name . Be sure to initiate the squat with your hips and not your knees (i.e. push your butt back to start) Roll Tide.

I count strength training as buring extra calories. I will scale the calories up or down based on how hard I worked though, for example every leg day my heart rate is way up and stays up just because squats do that to me. You'll get the hang of it after you do it a few times. Good Luck

Totally, but personally I got a year and 2 weeks to get there. :drinker: Now where did I place those abs of mine...

Turning 39 in 3 weeks here. Determined to be in the best shape of my life before I hit 40! Feel free to add. :drinker:

I've been told in any order you want, but I prefer Shoulder Press, Back Squat, then Deadlift. Mainly because the transition is easier (least weight to most weight) and after the last back squat you can just dump it to the ground instead of reracking it. Congrats on your 400+ mark, that's good especially since you just…

Longest WOD evah! It must have been brutal to last 2 and 1/2 years

For deadlifts, I started using one overhand and one underhand grip on the bar when grip became a limiting factor. It fixed the bar wanting to roll out of my hands. Feels a little awkward at first but now I can't do it any other way because it's so much easier.

That right there will do it. I am, however, a big fan of stretching and the foam roller for working out the soreness too.

2 years in and I still get sore, it never goes away :drinker:
