Holly has good advice. I would try to take up some yoga too maybe one day a week. The exercises from yoga will help with your core and hip flexors.

Thanks! This sounds simple and delish. :)

I bought something fitness related from them too. I think it was fractional plates. They were prompt and exactly what I was expecting. :)

Thanks for the post. Always looking for new recipes. :)

Your food choices seem good, but I think you are asking if you should eat more? Are you hungry? What is your activity level? There are websites that can help you calculate your TDEE so you know you are eating enough to support your daily activities such as iifym.com or scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator. Good luck! :)

I did SL for 5 months. I only stopped because hubs was doing it with me and he quit. I'm still lifting just w/a trainer, but the program was awesome for it's shear simplicity. I have not done NR so I have no experience to comment on. They both have groups here that you can search out. Good luck! :)

Thanks SS!

Hi! I'm 4' 11.5" and yes I count that half inch because I swear I used to be 5'! ;o) At my heaviest weight, but not pregnant, I weighed in at 130 lbs. At present I'm at 119 but was recently down to 116. I would love to burn down some of this body fat % to get to a better number!! :)

I'm interested Steel. I did not see this original post so I hope I didn't miss out. I could use help with my nutrition I think. I'm definitely working it in the gym but over the past month my weight has crept back up and I'm not sure I'm eating enough or not or the "right" food?! Help! ;o)

Thanks for the post, Sara; I did not see this yesterday. You are awesome. I will keep on keepin' on. :)

I'm with her ^^^! You are kidding with this question?

Hi! I looked at your diary over the last 4 days just so you know where I'm coming from in the event that these are not typical days. The good news is you're not starving yourself. :) My pointers would be this: 1) make sure you are planning your day around your protein intake; I've found that doing this the other macros…

Take a look at the group Eat More 2 Weigh Less under Community. They also have a website eatmore2weighless.com Lots of useful info! Good luck! :)

That's b*ll****! I'm still working my way to unassisted and I'm almost there. Practice, practice, practice and you can do it. I'm 42 yo and 4'11" and 116 lbs.

Hey girlie, I warm up with a lighter weight for the equivalent of one set then jump into it. I also do a little cardio for 5-10 mins before just to get the body warm.
-
I regularly weigh in on Wednesday mornings before my shower but I hop on the (stupid) ;o) scale on other days as well. I think just to see how I can gain and lose a few pounds in a day for no apparent reason. ;o)

Hey new friend! If this is new and it's in your head, than you should be able to work out. IMO, I usually like to do cardio to move it out fast. ;o) Anything below the neck, is usually a wait and see; give it rest.

Hi, You can add/customize your own exercise. To calculate the calories accurately, I would recommend purchasing a heart rate monitor.

Thanks for posting. Sounds great & I'm always looking for something new and easy! :flowerforyou:

I did WW for a year. I will say that some of their principles were very helpful; portion control, measure everything, get moving. The weekly meetings held you accountable, but I agree with some of the others that if you are not motivated, paying isn't going to make it happen. Look at all the people who will be joining gyms…
