Makeup wipes hon, they are your friends. Don't put off going to the gym because of makeup. Carry a pack of wipes in your gym bag and simply wipe your face down before your work out. If you remove just your foundation and clean around the eyes you will still have your eye makeup on (therefore look somewhat put together) but…

Goodwill !!!!!!!! thrift stores is the way to go. It is senseless paying high prices for clothes you'll wear very little. I go to thrift stores around well off neighborhoods because I find good quality stuff that is barely used. Hit some rummage sales in the summer too!!

You can add me if you want. Actually any of you who are looking for friends for support are free to add me.

I live alone and work two jobs, so my meals are simple and I tend to stick to the same old boring stuff when I go grocery shopping. Rotisserie chicken Frozen blueberries greek yogurt (pineapple or vanilla) mandarin oranges fresh spinach lettuce (NOT Iceberg - I hate iceberg lettuce!) red onions tomatoes olive oil & vinegar…

I'm 5' , I'm at 137 right now. I would like to reach 120 lbs. I was told by the YMCA people that I should weight 112 (they measured all sorts of things) but I have been 112 lbs before and I looked sick. I don't think the YMCA folks were right... I want to look healthy, not sick!

Yessum it is normal. My weight always goes up during my TOM :( I don't check my weight anymore during that time.

It looks like you got some bad advice! Don't listen to them :) exercising is good for you, period! I know there is a school of thought out there that says cardio is a waste of time...and then the other moronic school of thought says strenght training is a waste of time... that is all pure bullcrap! I loose weight by eating…

I've been on it for 5 years for sleep disorder. It gives me the munchies. If I give in to the munchies I don't loose weight (of course), but if I don't I don't have problems loosing weight. I take 250 mg before bedtime. Just be advised that it does make you want to eat after you take it.

Everything in moderation is key. I will not give up red meat. I rarely eat it, but once in awhile my significant other grills the perfect Ribeye ever :) I don't eat pork much at all. Just doesnt taste as good as beef. Ref meat for me is a treat, a luxurious treat since my grocery budget doesn't allow me to buy much beef,…

Celexa made me gain weight. My highest was 169 lbs (I'm only 5 ft tall). Once I stopped taking it I lost 15 lbs.

I hear you about the cold sister! folks who are limited on the type of exercise they can safely do without causing more injury to their bodies really struggle during cold months when walking is the safest they can do. I love to walk too and like you I can't afford a treadmill. I do strenght exercises in my living room but…

On my days off. I work the night shift, 12 hours. I get my long walks in on my 3 days off. My schedule is a mess. I have to sleep all day in order to be up all night. It's hard to get exercise in while trying to sleep at least 6 hours :/

Drew Barrymore - when I was 120 lbs and my hair was short and bleached blonde. But in all honesty I think those people where high on something...

I was shocked by a grilled chicken salad I had at Garfield's last week.... it packed almost 500 calories! I rarely eat out these days but once in awhile the significant other wants to stop and eat somewhere at the spur of the moment. But now he has joined MFP :) so that might change!

I had a ****load of candy and junk food!! NO regrets haha! I also danced a lot :) I seriously doubt that one day of eating Halloween junk food is going to add weight to my waist :) We'll see on weigh in day!

First advice is for you to see a doctor if you can afford it. Second is to stop running, walk instead. The ortho docs I see at work say that running is too hard on your knees and it is better to walk. I work in an ortho, neuro, and peds unit so I hear them docs talk about this sort of stuff often. Personally I don't risk…

I love makeup, collect makeup "collectibles", but I don't wear makeup to workout unless I've been wearing it all day. But then again I don't go to the gym, I workout in a treadmill at home. Thongs - looks and feels wrong on me, not my thing. I'm a "boyshort" undies kind of girl. Crocs? I can see people trying to jog in…

Smoked turkey, cornbread dressing, and sweet potato pie :) these are the foods I look forward to the MOST during the Holidays. Nothing else really attracts me that much :)
