I know this is really different than what everyone else is saying, but my advice is the exact opposite... I just recently did c25K and found that the walking running after about 5 weeks of doing the program was exhausting and I was starting to feel like I would never be able to just run... plus, every time I stopped…

What is the program? Is there a website or something?

You know... I have the same problem... I have learned 3 good things: 1) tell yourself, when you are about to eat: Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels 2) In order to get what I want out of the effort I have put into it so far, I have to do it for a lot longer than a few weeks... 3) exercise gives me 300+ calories that I…

Don't wait! Start running slow with walking in between! I am a little shorter than you and weigh about 10 lbs less and I started a little over a month ago to train for a 5K and monday and tuesday I ran 2 miles straight! I am well on my way for a 5K or anything I want :) Start now!

It IS a lot of work... takes time to do it... I find it depressing too, but I know what happens if I don't, so I just keep at it...
-
Wow! 3 months! What have you been doing?

P90X is probably the way to go...

Mid October, I started running after a pretty sedentary life. This morning I ran 2 miles... I have been building up and following my own plan, but it is basically like couch to 5K, except that I sometimes pushed a bit more... I started out first day running 1 minute and then walking 3 minutes or so and then next day 1.5…

I don't know if she is your friend, but if she is, then she is a true one... That must have taken guts! Good for you for having such a good attitude about her comment! That took some maturity! I hope that it does work! You can do it :) Make it a life style change... not a diet! Diets are ALL fads.

I am training now for a 5K at the end of January! I started running over a month ago and I think I am doing well but not sure... Would you care to share some suggestions? I would really REALLY appreciate it!

I think flavored water is great! I drink it all day long.... 64oz or more a day... I hate plain water!

Keep at it! Don't get discouraged!

tell us what happened ok? It seems sort of like a sick joke! But maybe it isn't....

As a nurse, I would strongly advise you to ask your doctor that... Diabetics have to be very careful and carbs become sugars when broken down by the body, so your doctor or a nutritionist would be the best ones to ask...

So how much does it cost to get a tummy tuck if all you have is a bunch of really saggy skin and hardly any fat? My husband thinks it would be well worth if after our next-last kid.

Has anyone done it and is it good? What kind of equipment do you need?

frying pan!

Been there! 30 pounds in 4 days... since then though, I've barely lost anything!!!! Congrats though!

I sure would hate to be saying for ever and ever, "Man, I wish I hadn't taken the million buck!"

THIS SUCKS! I put on 8 pounds over the holidays!!!! I don't know why I cannot seem to loose the weight! I am so sick of feeling fat, at seeing pictures of myself and feeling disgusted, at not feeling sexy for my husband! So sick of it!!! How is it that some of you guys have lost like 100 pounds and I can't even loose 10…

I think dancing is probably the best plan for you---it's at home--private, FREE :) thats a good thing always, and it's aerobic (you should see how fast your get your heart beat up just moving--the beat keeps you moving and accountable :) My sister over the past year lost around 45 lbs just dancing anytime she felt full…

Has anyone ever made one, and kept it? I used to not believe that people ever kept them... till I saw two guy friends of mine and one girl friend who made different resolutions and kept them right up till midnight of the starting next year. I have never kept mine, but I realize now that mine were always sort of general, or…

You know what really struck my about your now and then pictures? How much more comfortable you look in your body... You seem more at ease... SO COOL! Congrats!

I agree...

A lot of people will tell you to eat all your exercise calories because if not you will put your body into starvation mode and then actually not loose weight. There might be some truth to that, but my opinion is that is not completely true unless you are working out like 1,000 calories per day. Then you should probably eat…

Yeah, It's great! Only thing is, you don't look like you need to loose any weight... maybe you need to put on pounds? No offense... Take it as a compliment...
