I lost 70. I log in everyday still, but pretty much stop logging everything the way I used to and I’m back up 20 pounds. Back to being more diligent!

For myself I always wondered if people were talking about how heavy I was behind my back and then when I lost weight people started commenting that I was "losing weight and looking good," well that just verified that people were talking about me. But with this weight loss journey that I have been on, I have learned a lot…

Did a 5k today that I ran last year. I improved my time by 4 and a half minutes! I have also logged in for 700 days!

Vicky I am so sorry for your loss, but I am seeing some victory here as well. You acknowledged you went back to old ways and before its way out of control you are hitting the brakes. Most importantly you continue to Praise God during this storm in your life!

Looks like you have amazing support! Keep going.

Remember you said in your original post that you are going to love yourself and not be too hard on your body??? So you had a bad day, but overall a better week, right? I truly believe loving yourself right where you are at has to come first before big changes happen. That is what happened for me. Slowly, each day when…

Part of this whole process is figuring out how you got to where you are. Yep, bread is a so yummy and it's hard to resist, but it sounds like you had a stressful night with your child. Yes, you ate the whole loaf of bread, but use it as a victory. You are starting to see how, when you are stressed and the food is there,…

So I have been on MFP for 596 days. My Fitbit had synced with the account for a long period of time and then back in November it stopped. It was very frustrating, but I thought maybe it was now a premium thing. Went on with life. Saw this post, did the steps, and it's WORKING!!!!!! I'm so excited.

Love your story. Way to keep pushing through and finding new things that worked at each stage.

Your smile in the last picture tells the whole story. What an amazing journey. Thanks for sharing.

When I started in June of 2015 something just finally clicked. I was done. I was either making the choice to remain obese and accept who I was, how I looked in my clothes, and continue my life as an obese women, but no longer would I feel bad about who I was. My other choice was to accept what I had previously tried for…

Woo hoo!! That is amazing. When you started did you really believe you would lose that much? I have lost 74 pounds and I'm 6 pounds away from normal BMI. I really want to get there too. When I started I didn't even think it was possible, now I believe it is! I get so excited when someone post that they are in normal BMI…

Great job! That's my goal. Normal BMI!! I'm almost there too.

I'm doing a 5k on Saturday. It's for ovarian cancer. I have a sister and a sister in law who are both battling this disease. They have been very supportive of my weight loss journey in the mist of fighting there own battles. My plan is to jog the whole race.

I decided that it was my endless love of snacking that got me to 240 pounds. Something clicked and I new that was something I had to change. This weight loss thing is a huge mental challenge. I did a lot of self talk to decide why I wanted something to snack on? If the answer was I'm truly hungry then I ate something, put…

The only way I have had the strength to lose 70 pounds was from praying to my Heavenly Father for strength in this process. Keep praying!

Working through a plateau now too. I have 10 pounds to get to normal BMI. I have lost 70 pounds since June 2015. I was starting to get upset, but I have to tell myself this is a new lifestyle for me. I have read some threads on working through plateaus. I have busted out my food scale again and am changing some exercise.…

I have been logging food with MFP for 429 days. What I have learned over these months is there is most definitely a time in the month that I crave higher fat, sugar, or salty food!! What's different this time is I choose to not let being a women and having these special changes in our bodies throw my diet off. The first…

Last summer I was 240. Now I'm at 169.4! Keep plugging away. One pound at a time! Great job!

What do you mean? Do you subtract calories eaten from calories burn?

You snap out of it one day at a time! Accept and LOVE who you are now. That new baby needs a healthy mom physically and emotionally. If your not ready for the gym, just go for a walk or do an exercise video. If the emotions are real bad talk to your doctor. It could be some postpartum depression. Good luck.

I bet it's easier to keep up with those boys now! Happy Birthday.

Let this time be different. I always stopped because I felt better, and I was able to eat a little "snack" and it won't hurt anything. Next thing I new I gained the weight back :/ Not this time! When I approached that 30 pound window I refused to go back. You have to make a mental shift in your thinking and know your not…

Well done. You honor the donor as well, by taking great care of yourself. Your story is true inspiration.
