Down 19lbs with 65lbs to go. It will be a while.

Hate that it isn’t syncing back to MFP. Rage.

Gained 10lbs between Nov 1-Dec 31. I’m down 5lbs in 5 days with no sign of slowing down yet.

Welcome. I sincerely wish you luck on your weight loss. 100 pounds is a lot to lose in a year. It’s possible but not in any way a guarantee. It is easier to lose quickly early on due to a higher BMR, but the closer you get to goal, the more complicated it can get to create a large enough deficit. That said, it is possible…

I just don’t. Don’t have munchies available. Eat what your calories permit and no more. Go for a walk. Exercise. Distract yourself from eating. Motivation is key. I personally have no understanding for eating more due to hormone changes in my cycle. In my experience I have no more interest in eating than any other day. I…

No adjustments to my daily log but sure sometimes I do. As soon as I’ve consumed something or exercised it is no longer acurate to my daily tracking, but it can be interesting to see if changes happen after various activities but it’s purely for fun.

If I feel like it I might have diet pop a couple times a week. It doesn't hinder anything for me as far as weight loss is concerned.
-
Depends how long it's for but generally maintenance or a small (3-4lb) gain followed by maintenance.

5'3.5" around 165lbs - Not confident here: my last weight was 159lbs fully clothed including shoes, but it wasn't on my usual scale because mine got lost in my move three weeks ago and I cannot find that stinker for the life of me. Size 14 clothes, L scrub top, M scrub pants. Ah glamorous life of a nurse. Haven't even…

Nope. Eating more will slow your weight loss and depending on how much you eat, it can slow things a lot. I never feel hungrier during my period and if anything feel less hungry.
-
MFP's recommended calories is your minimum intake, any exercise calories are meant to be eaten.
-
It depends on the set of scrubs. Some are extremely forgiving and some are awful and show every pound of extra self. Totally agree on the remaining parts of this quote.
-
If I'm choosing I will keep my old one. This one adds 0.7 of a point of BMI to my current one.
-
Of course. It's water weight related to hormone changes. If you don't overeat during your period, the water weight and weight you would have lost during that time will all go away following your period. It's normal and not preventable.

MFP settings are not accurate for my purposes and my goal is 0.75lbs weekly which (from what I recall and someone can correct me if I'm wrong) MFP doesn't offer as an option. I set my own calorie goals with a custom amount I got from scoobys workshop for TDEE-xx% to provide me with my weight loss goal over a year…

The equation of calories in to calories out is all that is necessary for weight change. For loss, intake needs to be less than output. Balance is required for maintenance. Intake needs to be higher than output for gain. But for HEALTH, the types of food you eat matter a lot more.

I've lost 60 pounds of a 90-100 pound goal. When I first started losing I was dropping 2-3 pounds a week eating 2000 calories a day. After a bit of that and the loss slowing, I lowered my calories to 1900 and stayed there until I was losing less than a pound a week. Then I dropped down to 1700 a week. Trust me when I say…

1700 is my goal. I have lost 60 pounds eating between 1700 and 2000 calories. Life is good.

For me it's a psychological thing: if I drink the right amount of water, it leads to feeling healthier. That feeling causes me to make healthier food choices and exercise more. Over time this results in a healthier body. And it all starts because I had a couple glasses of water every day.

Well, carbs are 50-65% of my daily intake on any given day so I definitely am NOT low carb. I eat whatever suits me and is within my very reasonable calorie goals for weight loss - a deficit but also not particularly low cal because I eat quite a lot compared to others my height. I eat at whatever macro level feels right…

It's different things at different times for me. Fresh homemade bread is a problem but only the first day. I can have bags of treats (still sealed) but I have a hard time controlling portions once a bag of chips is opened. And if there is homemade baked goods, I have to portion them and freeze in portions or I sometimes…

Everything I can think of I have no interest in right now (I've got an awful cold and my interest in food drops to nothing when I'm sick) but I guess if I had to pick something, fresh barely cooled bread with butter on it.

Single serving products, salad greens and spices are not accurately measured. Nothing unusual.

I've lost 62 pounds and have 30-40 to go. I started at a tight size 20, I'm currently in a 14 but they are getting loose on me. My daughter is my biggest inspiration. I want her to be proud of me, not embarrassed at my size. My best tips: 1. Make quality nutrient dense food a priority. Snacks and treats and junk are fine…

When I qualified for a healthcare trial and study after my csection due to my BMI. It was so devastating to my ego at the time because I was so pleased that I had gained less than 20 pounds during my pregnancy, and to have people ask and talk about my weight was a tad insulting.
-
I worked with a fertility specialist to have my child (because of my partner's health issues) but I was obese during treatment. It worked fine because I was otherwise healthy but if I could go back and do things over again, I would strongly prefer to be told I needed to lose weight. Trust me when I say: being closer to a…

I first noticed in my arms, face, and neck. Then my thighs, butt, and belly. It's been fairly even actually.

There is no way to know for sure. I've lost 62 pounds and have some loose skin on my arms and legs. My lower abdomen has some as well and I still have at least 30 pounds of loss to go, but it looks so much better than it did 62 pounds ago! My thought process regarding skin surgery is that if you can't handle having loose…
