Oh boy, that struggle, does it end? Just eat every few hours so that you never get to the point of starving, and if you feel hungrier towards the end of the day, save some calories for that time of day. Buy some low calorie snacks to keep with you and lots of water. I just bought some raspberries and light whip…

That is too funny!

Great post, thanks so much for sharing the 10 things that you have learned. I still need to learn to plan the day out food wise instead of just going with whatever happens. This is a LONG journey that is for sure!

I agree with that! We are not that OLD!

I am with you. I want to eat clean, I really do. I do NOT like vegetables, I love fruit. I just can't get myself to eat the veggies unless I have some kind of dip to go with them. I am going to focus on the amount I eat right now of what I do have, to learn and control myself with what I enjoy and hopefully down the road I…

This would make me sick!!!! Found a dead fly in my food and they didn't replace it or do anything, that was from Perkins in a ham and cheese omelet.

YUMMY!!!!!!!! Don't like cheesecake, but that part could be taken out, cut a few calories, lol

This is a great thread, love reading the suggestions as knee pain can definitely be quite a bump in the road. I haven't been able to workout for a few days due to it hurting to even walk, so I guess upper body and swimming would be the route to go for now until the pain subsides. Does anyone have any good suggestions for…

What a difference, all that hard work has paid off!

I wouldn't use the calorie count for the calories burned with MFP, I know there are some web sites out there that can help you better calculate based on age, weight, etc. I purchased an HRM to get the accurate amount recorded and it works great! Oh, and I struggle with evening binging thoughts almost every night it seems,…

I have had unintentional cheat days, and I do record it all just to see what is in the foods and hopefully not have so much or if at all next time.

Hello I have PCOS as well, but try to not let it discourage me. Have tried the low carb diet and it did work really good, but I am addicted to carbs and so gained back the weight I lost after doing the low carb diet, I have decided to count calories instead and go within the limits that MFP provided and have los 26 lbs so…

So very true, I am starting to realize this after a couple of days of eating poorly. It's definitely a challenge in my mind as well.

I have been doing the 1200 calories a day for about a month and a half, and it definitely works, recently had two cheat days just because the craving for sweets was so strong, but back at it again today. Have lost a total of 26 lbs in about 2.5 months. I will admit it is a total lifestyle change from how I used to eat, but…

2 months in myself, and have struggled the past couple of days, but I am determined to keep going. Just wish it was a lot easier than it is. I am slowly changing the way I think about things, but a lot of my old habits creep in, so I am still trying to conquer and fight them. Just set small goals, and keep working towards…

Totally agree with you. I have not denied myself anything, just adjusted how much I eat and if I have the calories left for it. Thanks for posting!
