  • Maybe try following Anita (she's the one who does the beginners level on the right side of the screen) and if it's too much then do some low impact exercises that don't involve the knee? I hope youre ok!
  • Why is he voicing his displeasure in ANY way if you're doing something to better yourself! Obviously he isn't educated in the ways of females vs male bodies and doesn't understand that there's no chance of BULKING UP because we're simply not built for it. I'd just start doing it and when you DON'T start bulking up, say you…
  • I would just save it as a "meal" and then select the meal, easy :)
  • Sometimes with females it can depend heavily on what time of the month it is. It could be because you're retaining fluid and that's why you haven't lost weight. The best way to check if you're still losing weight is to go by your waist measurement as we hold fluid around our bellies :) If your waist measurement is still…
  • I'm 5'11 and currently weigh close to your "old" self at 171lbs. I stopped reading the scales about a month ago when I went to the nutritionist and he said that on a week-week basis our bodies weight varies so much (especially around that time of the month) and if I wanted to keep stressing out over that, I could continue…
  • I go over every day and the only sugar I put in anything is in my coffee. I don't add sugar to anything else at all! I also don't eat sweets or anything that's high in sugar.
  • 1. Skim Milk 2. Guardian Cereal 3. Saltana Bran Which is what I have for breakfast almost every morning haha
  • Wow, this thread certainly blew up while I was asleep. So many opinions, so little time! Anyway, I appreciate everyone's point of view and their willingness to post so passionately. Obviously this is an issue that hits close to home, negative or positive. I am just astounded at the fact that my original post was simply…
  • I don't think they should state it just to cater for those trying to lose weight, I think they should cater to those who value knowing what they're putting in their body. They're not telling you that you can't eat it, it's on the menu for you to be able to order it, they're simply telling you how many calories is in it.…
  • I remember once, I think I was about 12, and I asked my Dad if he could put cheese on my rice that I was eating for dinner. He said "RICE DOES NOT REQUIRE CHEESE" dafuq? I thought EVERYTHING required cheese. I love love love cheese :) Needless to say, I don't talk to him anymore, mostly cause he's a d!ck, not cause of the…
  • I didn't know that either until I searched online haha. It would help if she specified that...
  • I equate it to dudes working out without shirts. As long as you wipe the machines down, I don't care if you wear a bra, a tank top or a tent.
  • Agreeing with ChantelleFowl about how it should be easy. If the menu is relatively the same, how hard is it to manage to put nutrition info on there? You do it once and it's done, you stick to your portion sizes and you won't have a problem (and what kind of restaurant doesn't stick to portion sizes when you're serving…
  • All the time. Even in the smallest of ways, whether it's my boyfriend putting extra food on my plate that I feel I have to eat, or someone saying I'm being "BORING" because I won't drink alcohol or eat entrees. It's quite annoying really. I don't judge anyone else for what they eat or drink, why do they feel like they can?
  • lol welcome to the internet!
  • I pretty much try to do that, sometimes it's rather difficult when they don't list all ingredients or quantities though.
  • I live in Australia and unless you go to places like McDonalds, there's no nutritional information given at all. For the record, I don't eat at McDonalds... an example would be going to a Vietnamese restaurant. Another state (not the one I live in) is making it mandatory to show the calories in every meal if you're a food…
  • Yeah, that's fine, but those who don't care don't have to read it, I just want a CHOICE.
  • I really need to drink more -.- FECK. I don't drink nearly enough. Ps. Thanks for reminding me! :)
  • I bought a spread - Almond Butter with Chia Seeds - for my toast :D IT IS DELICIOUS. Tastes exactly like peanut butter.
  • Meat Pies :( I love them. LOVE.
  • I am SHOCKED when I make a plan to go out to dinner somewhere and have a look at the calories on a meal on the menu before hand and it's like MY ENTIRE DAYS ALLOWANCE IN ONE GO :( I can't believe I wasn't FATTER given my old eating habits haha
  • I would rather lose it slowly, but surely and with all the knowledge of what's happening to my body. Fad diets that allow you to lose ridiculous amounts in a short time teach you nothing about health and nutrition. As long as you're going and don't stop that's all that matters! :)
  • I did mini goals too! It was so much easier to reach an attainable goal of losing a few pounds first rather than a HUGE amount. It's a lot easier to deal with mentally, and it's great for encouragement because once you pass the first mini goal, you're so excited to reach the second! Nice work :D
  • If your calorie total for the week is below the goal every week, theoretically you should lose weight every week. Calories in vs calories out.
  • I found it really easy to lost the first 25kg (44 pounds). Now I want to lose another 10kg and it's taking me forever. But I am doing it the best way, slowly but surely. I am determined I'll get there :) MPF helps track it, that's for sure!
  • I don't really give a damn if the world IS brainwashed, as long as I look after me, that's all that should matter right? Ps. I'll have a fruit pastel too please :D
  • Entire sleeve on left arm. Wolf, birds, key and lock, type, filigree.
  • I'm currently doing the 30DS and my advise is to ignore the scales and focus on losing inches. My weight stayed the same after the first 2 weeks but I lost 4cm from my waist! I also FEEL a lot slimmer even though my weight is the same. Don't give up! You'll be happy you saw it through :)
