Not true at all! I added a lean protein powder to my routine and LOST weight!! Go for it. Just look for a lean powder. Something like Muscle Milk or a Special K shake IS NOT the way to go! Good luck!!

NO SUCH THING!! Protein is great for you, helps repair muscles and make you feel fuller longer! I eat about 150 grams of protein a day without even trying!! PS I have not been logging since pregnant so don't look :)

I have only done one type of cleanse and it was the Shakeology 3 day cleanse. It is not super restricting and the shakes provide your body with all of the vitamins and minerals it needs. Boil eggs on SUnday and seperate themminto baggie so you have the week Piece of toast with PB (skip the jelly unless its sugar free) piece of fruit cheese stick or cubes kashi go lean instant oatmeal with almond milk and strawberries or blueberries greek yogurt with granola

stay away from the saucey rolls, tempura's, and cream cheese any rolls with fresh veggies (cucumber, avacado) would be good ask them to sub soy paper instead of rice. Enjoy!!

Special K anything tastes awesome but they have a lot of sugar in them. Try CLIF bars. They are great and made from all natural ingredients. They also give you energy. Enjoy!

I agree. I also bought a HRM and was burning right around what MFP said I was. Also, if you calculated your weight and age into the machine, the reading should be pretty accurate. I would onvest in a HRM though. I got a polar on amazon with a chest strap for $80. Good luck!

Stop thinking about it and just do it! I never thought I could do one and while at the police academy, I did one for charity. I put my iPod on and finished in under 30 minutes. I have yet to do another one but really want to. I have not done it but I hear the C25K program is pretty awesome. Good luck!

I thought it had a few good points. FOr example, did you know we are the only mammals that as adults drink milk??? Think about it! Also, Splenda is 2% arsenic! WTF?!?! I have since switched to Truvia and usually go for soy or almond milk. But the language and bashing of non-vegans was a bit much.
