  • Me too! Add me, I will be sure to check in and be honest with you about how good or bad my eating is going
  • I'm with ya. Just had my second three weeks ago and between the lack of sleep with her and running around with my toddler, I have been making poor food choices. I'm happy to help motivate you!
  • I stopped being lazy and looked it up. Fiber One 80 Calorie Honey Squares
  • Fiber One has a cereal, I forget what they call it but it is only 80 calories a serving. And it's a real serving not a smaller serving resulting in less calories, haha. It's really good though and obviously full of fiber.
  • I got a new job, my career job and had 5 months of really intense training (not necessarily physical) before I was officially, officially hired. I lost so much weight my friends kept telling me I looked way too skinny. I was eating like a horse though. So, it IS interesting the effects of stress. Sucked when I started…
  • Bulk chicken breast Hearty, filling veggies---Spaghetti Squash, ANY squash, really. Green-leaf veggies I find the cheapest stuff to buy is in fact usually the healthier stuff--as long as youre willing to make the effort to cook a little bit.
  • That I couldn't tell you. Guess it depends on what you put in it. Wasn't shooting to post a recipe---more like an idea for dessert alternative.
  • I used to think EXACTLY like you, trust me!! HOWEVER, after making myself take a break once a week i realize how much better it is for me. After taking a day off I feel alot more energized the next day and am able to do that much more. I know in your head youre thinking one day off will add on pounds or make you back track…

  • Speaking only for myself, When i wake up and pretty much go straight to the gym, I definitely prefer not eating beforehand. I have found that I have the same amount of energy that early whether I eat or not... So why don't I eat? Because when i do I tend to feel like I am going to vomit mid-workout. Do whatever suits you…
  • If only!
  • I realize I just spelled banana wrong in the Topic. OOPS!
  • I don't know how bad the Lindor truffles are but I got a box of GODIVA truffles sent to me by a friend, and I threw them away--over 200 CALORIES EACH?! Bleh.
  • haha! okay, your case is different, I meant more the people who do it to be fashionable and trendy while they work out. I completely understand your situation--my hair is JUST now long enough to put in a pony tail!
  • That's so funny, I can only imagine your surprise. Congrats!
  • Hats, especially knitted hats should be added to #1
  • A baked potato, with nothing on it, is a very healthy food. yes, it has carbs but you do NEED carbs, people. (There's an aritcle about a guy who ate about 20 potatoes a day, and nothing else, and after a month he was perfectly healthy and lost lots of weight) Anyway, filet mignons are one of the leaner cuts of meat. So,…
  • DEFINITELY agree. Especially with treadmills that show you what's coming up next on your run. It's never bored me yet because the random intervel setting always changes (duh!) and you can always modify the speed, level, time, etc to mix it up!
  • Pizza isn't THAT bad for you! I always take the cheese off and never order meat toppings. It's about 250calories a slice (with the cheese), that's not terrible
  • I bought myself a .357 for Christmas :)
  • Ah, don't you wish it were always that easy?! I'm getting the vibe from the guys that gifts don't matter, they just want some lovin'. That's easy!
  • I just checked out the video. This makes me laugh so hard:laugh: NOT because it doesn't work, but because I have done this before. I actually went to a police academy and they made us do this everyday, except for 15 minutes, twice a day(with a little more rest in between exercises) Oh man, bringing back brutal memories.…

  • My gym is INFESTED with "meatheads". These guys in the cut off shirts, yelling at each other from across the gym, hogging the machines while NOT using them, taking 30 minutes on one machine, GRUNTING after every rep, SLAMMING the weights down, etc, etc. Yes, I am from the Jersey Shore area so these guys are overly tanned,…
  • Not counting my cardio, I usually do the machines for about 40 minutes. I am not worried about injuring myself, I do more reps, not more weights because I'm not trying to gain mucle mass. I just don't find it possible in 40 minutes I supposedly burned 18 calories. I could burn that sitting on the couch in 40 minutes. I…
  • Maybe I'm confused on what "strength training" is actually defined as. When I use the machines at the gym, I do multiple machines. I essentially do a full body workout with the machines. All the variations of leg press, leg extensions, hip abduction, lat pull, chest press, tricep press, rowing, etc etc. That's strength…
  • I never log any of the gum I chew during the day. (Its all sugar free--but, boy do I chew a lot of it!)
  • try "Better'N'Peanut Butter" much lower calories and fat than regular peanut butter. Hits the craving spot for me, atleast.
