Just Dance 2!
-
This month, my period was a week late, so it's possible that diet and exercise could have something to do with it, as just beforehand was the first time I really focused on the other numbers (fats and proteins) rather than just the calories. So it may be possible.

Exercising when I'm cold. Great way to keep warm without spending money on heating!
-
I record mine once a week, 6am on Wednesdays.
-
I don't know what your food diary looks like, but I know you need to make sure not only to stay within your calorie limit, but make sure you don't go too over with other nutrients, like protein or fat, which has been my downfall in the last few weeks. Dropping to 900 could be dangerous. Also, weight can fluctuate from day…

I've been told that's often the last place that goes :(
-
I've done that once before I think! You're not alone!
-
I've been told it depends on personal preference. I myself weigh myself once a week, 6am on a Wednesday morning, and ensure to wear the same clothes every time I do. That way you're controlling all variables (clothes weight/time of day etc.) that you can to get an accurate reading

If you absolutely have no choice but to go for McDonalds, there are some options that are healthier than others. I don't know about the chain outside of the UK, but here if all my friends decide to eat there, and I'm hungry, I'll order a chicken sandwich, asking them to hold the mayonnaise (sometimes they do, sometimes…

Well I suppose they say the camera adds 10lb! ;) But really, I feel the same. I look at photos where I think I look good on the day, and then think "wow did I really look THAT bad?"

The normal hourly burn is already taken into consideration, I think. Just record what your HRM says
-
I thought I was the only one with this problem. I noticed after a long 40 minute walk once it told me I'd only burnt 20 calories. I decided to take my pedometer with me the next time I went for a walk, to compare the results, and while my HRM told me I'd burnt 15, the pedometer told me nearly 200! I've made sure the strap…

I don't think people were being necessarily mean, but I think she didn't want to hear what people had to say. I was like that the first few times I tried to lose weight around her age, and even younger. I remember when I was 14 I joined Weight Watchers with my mum, and when it didn't work, I said it was useless, and…

I'm the same, I think my main problem with losing weight is that I don't eat enough instead of eating too much. I try and eat large meals, instead of having several small meals in a day. I aim for 300 calories a meal, and 300 for snacks. If I'm under one meal, I'll have something that has a little more than 300 calories to…

Chocolate bars! I treated myself to one a little while into my new health regime, and after a couple of bites, it just tasted of nothing for me, and I had to throw it away because I wasn't enjoying it at all
-
Thanks for the help, everyone!
-
This is what I've always thought, too. Surely the calories you burn exercising are null if you eat the calories back? In the past when I've had my exercise calories left over it's not given me the under calorie goal, message, if that helps?
-
I find they help to keep me focused. Even though I know what weight I want to get down to, if I don't set myself a goal, I won't stick to my diet. I'll overeat thinking I can make up for it, and that an "off week" is okay. But each to their own :)
-
Nothing on the way to the goal, but treating myself to a tattoo at the end of it all!
-
Good luck! I know you can do it

I don't know what it is about the song "Naturally" by Selena Gomez but it really does push me that extra bit. But I really need to put together a proper workout playlist, as I always lose my stride when a slower song starts!
-
You look beautiful in both! Would love to have either body :)
-
I love using the dance games on consoles, and I really think some of the time, they burn more calories than the workout games do! I have Dance Central for XBox, and I easily burn off so many calories in workout mode, and it's fun too! I have a Wii too, so will have to seriously look into purchasing Just Dance 2 now!
-
The Wii one seems to burn more than the XBox one for me. In a normal Wii routine I'll easily burn 264 calories in 15 minutes, whereas on the XBox one I'll only burn about 60 for the same amount of time.
-
I just got done with a Your Shape workout, and although it doesn't burn as much as say, going to the gym might (or it might do, I don't know, I myself have only had it for about a week, and not been able to use it as often as I like due to the XBox being in the lounge connected to the main TV), but it's excellent for…

Depending on where I am depends on what I like the best. In general, I record on the go, so the app is the best thing for me, whereas if I'm trying to work out what meal to have in the evening, I'm much more comfortable sitting down at the computer and working it out that way.
-
Does anyone know what 180c is as a Gas Mark?
-
Thanks for that! I've been feeling pretty unmotivated due to the cold weather, not able to get out to the gym, and not really being productive at all, and it showed when I didn't lose any weight this week. Your words were exactly what I needed to hear!
-
I'm in! Five week goal: 208lb!
-
I hope not! I haven't had one in about 8 years :( (And considering I'm only 22, thats way too long)
