  • i log in every day, keep up my exercise routine, and keep track of my weight and how my clothes are fitting. if i get to the top of my comfortable range, i work to get back down, but it's mostly just a change in food choices at this point. once you're more than a decade into it, you sort of know how to do it and what to…

  • official is 1225 days. i've actually logged every day since November 19, 2010, but a software glitch reset it to somewhere in 2011, i think.
  • What did you sacrifice to get your workouts in? i get up a lot earlier. also, i do a workout right before dinner even though i'm already hungry. worth it? yeah. every day.
  • good luck! i am involved in a couple fitness boards on facebook, and i always advise rest during injuries. last week, i decided to take mountain biking up a notch, and i really screwed up my hip. late in the week, i could hardly walk due to tendonitis, and i had to really back off for a couple days. it was really…
  • i eat subway most days because it's healthier than other places and it's portion controlled. as a result, i've maintained my weight loss pretty well. some people prefer to cook every meal; i'm ok with that, too. i think it's all about nutrients, and nutrients don't know where you bought them. that being said, if you get…

  • looks like they deleted the thread, lol. poster claimed to be trying to drop 350 pounds eating nothing but "pototaes." kind of reminds me of some other ridiculous diet plans i read about.
  • congrats! i remember when i dropped below 200. i promised myself never again would i approach 200, and i have kept that promise.
  • eating only pickles = not good. if you think that's bad, check out this diet : http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/944039-pototae-cleanse-pruven-methods lol
  • you did do well. congrats!
  • i knew my dinner would top 1,700 cals, so i planned it the night before, cut back breakfast, skipped lunch entirely, and did 140 mins cardio. i'm on maintenance, but everyone is entitled to a feast every now and again. i still came in under cals, and dinner was awesome.
  • baked potato grilled chicken sandwich. clif bar and a couple cadbury mini eggs for dessert.
  • great work. congratulations!

  • they are calorie dense ; high in fat and salt. i really enjoy fries, so i just get them every once in a while. get a small or kid's size when you can. that's what i do, unless the restaurant won't sell me the kid's portion; then i just throw some of them away. for my fry cravings on other days, i just take barbecue baked…
  • the first weight came off of my face, waist, and legs. love handles came off last.
  • i'm 1,165 minutes in on the exercise bike this March. and many more. exercise bike is my favorite winter workout.
  • i quite caffeinated coffee in 2010. i felt a bit low for two weeks, and that was it, along with an occasional low-grade headache. i drink decaf now, and honestly, it gives me as much of a boost as regular coffee ever did. i have the occasional full strength diet coke, but i don't really miss caffeinated coffee.
  • i love Greek yogurt. my faves that are under 120 cals : Danon Greek cherry : 80 cals Yoplait Greek 100 strawberry, 100 cals Oikos Greek caramel, 110 cals. this one has become almost impossible to find. to me, the Greek cherry from Danon tastes like cheesecake.

  • any condiment which has a 1 tsp serving size (excluding hot sauce.) nobody puts that on a sandwich.
  • i lost 110 pounds yeas ago, and i'm often cold now. i solve this by wearing sweaters and doing push ups.
  • mostly at home. i have an exercise bike, treadmill, and rowing machine. my favorite exercise is walking / hiking, and i do this in my town most of the year. generally, i take a couple camping trips to Turkey Run and Salamonie; hiking at those places is stellar. also, golf (pulling clubs) burns an insane amount of calories…
  • mine is dead accurate now. at one point years ago, though, it was about an eighty pound lie. by the time i finished the diet, liquor stores were giving me serious trouble about accepting the ID because i didn't look like the picture.
  • this. i'll also post this one more time : pubmed is a compilation of most legitimate, peer-reviewed scientific studies. if you see a ridiculous claim on a blog somewhere, check for real research here : http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed
