I do not yet have children, but I wake up at about 5 AM do do my workout. It sucks waking up that early, but that way I don't forget or get too busy throughout the day. Maybe your kiddos are still sleeping then and that will help??

Clif Mojo bars! Salty, nutty, sweet, and high in protein...
-
Now that made me laugh!

I agree- I've seen it on some food diaries and I always think if it works for you, it works. But it wouldn't work for me... some people really feel that they need to count everything that they consume but I personally do not subscribe to that philosophy!

Welcome :) Good luck to you! It is good to be motivated, even if your friends aren't too excited about physical exercise. Add me if you are looking for friends!

Clif bars are pretty good, chocolate chip is my favorite. They are 70% organic and pretty inexpensive if you get them from Target.
-
Asparagus with a little EVOOil and kosher salt or grilled pineapple are my favorites to add to any meal!

Try the Clif Mojo Mountain Mix bars for something new. It is 180 cal per bar, 9 g of protein and 70%organic. It is a trail mix bar and I love them. It's like a mix of nuts, pretzels, chocolate chips, raisins, and these crispy things. Ultimately, I think you are doing way better than me when it comes to diet. I eat Clif…

Don't deprive yourself or you could go crazy. Have a little bit of what you want, log it, then brush your teeth right away to help prevent you from returning back to your treats.

Clif Mojo Mountain Mix bar is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. You get the salty and the sweet, 70% organic (if you care) and 9 gr of protein. They are my new favorite thing.

I've heard nuts and cheese work well, but I'm currently looking into protein bars and shakes...

Your minimum calorie intake should be 1200. Anything less is unhealthy and could put your body into starvation mode. If you loose 3 lbs per week without your doctor's involvement, you could gain it all back once you started eating a healthy amount of calories again. My suggestion: go see your doctor, drink water, eat your…

I like apples as a filling snack and egg whites in the morning to keep me going until lunch.

I was really successful with weight watchers, but I was trying to save some dough and use this site instead. I'm considering rejoining, but haven't really made up my mind yet.

Hello- I love the accountability of this group. Thanks again for creating it!

2/13/2011 Down 1.5 lbs, weight is at 212.

Good for you!

Pick one day to weigh yourself and stay with that same day. Also, weighing yourself after working out may be misleading because you usually drink a lot of water while working out so you probably didn't knotice a difference because you were full of water :) I find that weighing myself on Sundays works for me because I get…

This may be a bit cheesy, but I like the YRG DVD workout. I bought mine a few years ago and it is great cardio without jumping around all over the place. You use your own body as resistance in yoga poses that are much easier to contort yourself into. The program is from the former wrestler Diamond Dallas Page and YRG means…

It's always good to have friends to help keep you going. Anyone can add me if you like :) Good luck out there! I just joined a group called the SlimPossibles, info is here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/146605-got-30-35-lbs-to-lose-join-my-group-and-we-can-do-it-toget

I think I need more information. Have you been staying within your calories and exercising? What is your sodium intake, how much water do you drink? What method did you use to drop the first 60 lbs?
-
I don't have a solution- but milk is good for you so I don't think you should stop drinking it. I stopped drinking milk when I was on weight watchers a few years ago because I thought I would rather eat my calories. It turns out, diet soda gets tiring after a while and has no nutritional goodness like milk has. Keep…

I'd like to join- I'm tired of being fat. I have a little more than 35 lbs to loose but I've got to start somewhere, right? Let's go motivation!

The more friends, the merrier. I'd also like additional support- I get so frustrated sometimes!
-
Holy cow- you are doing awesome! I've been on this site since late December and have only lost 3.5 lbs and I am frustrated. Maybe additional motivation could help... do you have a pair of jeans or a sexy dress you can hang up that is visible? Sometimes a visual reminder could be helpful to help you with motivation. As far…

Don't restart- make it a goal to be better this week and go from there!
-
Don't get discouraged, keep making better decisions and you will be better off long term. You mentioned you were on weight watchers. They always say it is about changing your habits to make healthier choices, you must think of this site in the same way. Loosing one pound per week is much easier to maintain so you don't…

Nicely done- that is also my goal: to be overweight and no longer be obese so my Mii will be less rotund...
-
I don't think you are doing it worng- I think you are doing it so that it helps keep you sane. I became totally OCD with logging calories or Weight Watchers points and it was not good to constantly obsess over food that nuch. I found that constantly thining about things to log made me only hungrier... I guess I'm a little…

I don't track beverages- but I mostly drink diet sodas or water. When I was on Weight Watchers a while ago, I realized that I wasn't drinking milk or juice because I wanted to eat my points, not drink them. I felt that I was taking an unheathly path so to avoid going totally nuts I stopped counting drinks. To compensate…
