Prepregnancy: 5'4" 145 lbs Current at week 11: 151.8 lbs My goal is to only gain 25 lbs I am a little bummed because I don't think that I would have gained so much already if I hadn't gotten pregnant right before the holidays! I'm just trying to keep active and continue tracking on MFP. My weight has actually been…

Congratulations on all of your hard work, you look great and happy! Very inspiring story, I can relate to a lot of it too.

What kind of weight training do you do?

I have been friends with you for a while now and have thoroughly enjoyed learning from you in the Eat, Train, Progress group, but I had not actually read your story before. You are one amazing and inspiring lady with an incredible body and enviable strength!!! Keep spreading your knowledge and encouraging people to really…

Taking a break from 5x5 to start NROL4W (again). I'm excited though, and I am looking forward to getting through stage 1 for a third time, haha! Here we go!

Until I read all of the other madness on here  ... I just want to have another baby and I fully intend on continuing to lift while pregnant unless my doctor tells me no.

Congratulations, that is a huge accomplishment! Knowing when you need to give in a little in order to feel happy and comfortable is difficult, especially when it has the potential to turn into a binge situation, but the more you are aware of what your needs are, the less likely it is to spiral out of control. EM2LW is a…

I'm just tagging to follow because I am pretty much in the same boat.

Do you eat eggs? Broccoli and cottage cheese casserole. Basically this: http://www.food.com/recipe/broccoli-cheese-casserole-343742 But the recipe I use is out of this cookbook: http://www.amazon.com/Simply-Satisfying-Vegetarian-Recipes-Youll/dp/1615190627/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1385082874&sr=8-1&keywords=simply+satisfying…

Pretty much every reason others have already stated: people saying nasty things, having low energy, depression, anxiety, self-conscious, etc. That's why when I first started working out I went to Curves. It was a friendly place where I didn't feel so embarrassed about myself or be concerned about what other people were…

My best friend in high school, who was (and still is) gorgeous and thin always used to refer to herself as fat, when I was her fat best friend. It really used to upset me that she thought that about herself and that it made me feel like a whale. I would say that too, "you are not fat. If you're fat, I'm a freakin' whale".…

I use gloves on everything except deadlifts mostly because it helps with calluses. For some reason, even if my hands get sweaty, I feel like I can grip the bar better. I also wish I could use chalk, but my gym doesn't allow it either.

My thighs have always rubbed, it was worse when I was heavier and it used to wear holes in my pants and doesn't anymore, so I suppose that's a plus. I'm 5'4" and weighed around 160-180 all through middle school, high school and college, then I had my daughter and went up to 245 lbs. Now I'm 149 and I don't expect my thighs…

I had not actually seen your story before, you truly are amazing. Thanks so much for sharing!

Congrats on your hard work and good advice with the progress pics! I had such a hard time finding pictures of me at my heaviest and even along the way because I avoided the camera like the plague, but now I wish I had taken more! Also, you look amazing!

I don't understand why there has to be a separate name for sizes past a given number. It's all just silly nonsense. For that matter so are the freakin' sizes! Why can't women have waist and inseam measurements as sizes too?! Going from a size 6 to a size 12 in a single shopping trip is just frustrating....grumble grumble…

You are amazing! I was stuck in the plateaued land of cardio for quite a while before I discovered heavy lifting, I have seen so many wonderful changes just since Feb., but I hope to one day have amazing before and after pictures, like you do!

I was edging near a size 22 when I started to lose. I had never been smaller than an 11/13 since middle school, but after having a baby I kept gaining weight. I am now new to the world of single digits and can fit into an 8. I never thought I would be anything smaller than an 11, but here I am. I don't see it in the mirror…

Have you seen Freaks and Geeks? That was totally me.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. On a bit of a side note, you are an excellent writer and I think a blog would be a great way for you to stay focused on your goal and inspire others. It sounds like you have a good understanding of what it is going to take to make the change again and not fall back into old habits.…

Thank you for asking this, I've been considering trying to get pregnant and have wondered about lifting as well. I haven't seen that gif though, I will have to look for it!

I know you aren't looking for a split routine, but maybe try doing the nrol routine. I love the first stage and it did a lot for my weight loss and more importantly inch loss. Check out the interval training he lays out in the book too. I just switched to strong lifts this week, which is also a great beginner routine, it…
