Are there any other sources for fat you could recommend? I think I should have more fats, I am trying to cut down my carbs (don't eat bread or pasta) but even things like sweet potato and carrots have a lot of carbs.. Your choice. I only use the eggwhites - still some protein but less calories. My goal is 1300 per day though, so have to keep it strict. The yolks have good stuff too, alternatively you can make scramble with one whole egg and two egg whites.

Get most of mine from chicken and turkey. One large chicken breast usually does it. And I love smoked salmon so I have that with scramble made from only egg whites and a little bit of spring onion.

I'm 5"9 and my maintenance is about 1800. I try to eat 1800 a day and do a 600 calorie fast twice a week. But sometimes I go a little lower on the other days as well, ranging between 1500 and 1700.

No matter how slow you go, you're still lapping everybody on the couch. Take your fat for a run, then ditch it when nobody's looking. If you don't take care of your body, where are you going to live? Never give up on something just because it takes time to accomplish it. That time will pass anyway.
