Are you using splenda or anything with artificial sweeteners? I find that they cause me to get nauseous at random times of the day.

I've been thinking about getting fitted for a running shoe. I'm afraid to go to a specialized store because I think the shoes will be over $100. Are they typically high pressure in small, specialized stores like that?

59.6 miles of running & walking (mostly running & this only counts miles as pure exercise, not mall walking, working, etc) I am working on the bridge to 10k program! Week 4!

lol, I have read it is pretty common. I read that a typical runner should maintain a diet of 50% carbs, 25% protein, and 25% fat. That is about what I do and still get the ammonia smell. It does seem to not be as strong if I eat RIGHT before running, but it is difficult to eat, then go run and shake it all about.

LOL I was actually talking to a trainer the other day and she said old men typically come in in the morning to have their coffee and hang out. They don't work out, then they go to breakfast.

I have a friend who goes to the gym 2 times a day and doesn't shower between them! >:-( We hang out and he's always trying to hug me. Sooooo gross!

Check the red cross site. I think it says you can burn over 600 calories.

I did that for a while on c25k, but never made it through a full book before it expired. What site are you using for audio books? I was doing it free through the library.

I'm on week 2. I also did the c25k program. I find b210k a lot more difficult. I am super impressed that I am running over 5 miles because of it though.

Maybe try amping up the fitness a little? Sounds like you've always been active, maybe add in a little strength training and a few more minutes of cardio? Your body is probably used to your fitness level.

Keep your head up. Keep eating healthy and doing good for you. Your parents will see you happy and successful and that will help them. Parents always enjoy seeing their children happy. Good attitude helps with healing :)

Just keep doing what you're doing. I lost really quickly in the beginning too, then it slowed down to a steadier pace.

Are you going by what MFP set as your protein goals? MFP sets them extremely low.

I started out 3 years ago on a ninja 250, last year I got a ninja 500, but the body style was too big for me and it didn't feel right when I lowered it. This year, I have my first cruiser. I have a kawasaki vulcan 500. And yes, I absolutely ALWAYS wear a helmet. I always wear a jacket too, even though it gets super hot.

IDK the answer to your questions, but I used to be a huge pasta eater. I quit eating pasta because serving sizes were depressing, but was turned out to spaghetti squash which is very low in calorie and tastes great. Have you tried spaghetti squash?

What is wrong with us? LOL Most people would be excited to buy new clothes if it has a smaller size on it...hence why vanity sizing came along.

I do it on a treadmill that counts calories, so I just type the number of calories and the number of minutes I did it under walking 3.0 mph.
