I did a training program through a running store near me and it was a blast. We only met once a week but they had great guidelines for runnings in between meetings. We'd do our long runs together. It was a great support system and a fun way to be social too. I highly suggest it! I ran a half marathon in two hours after…

Last one I promise, acai nana cream antioxidant breakfast.

Here are a few of my favorite breakfasts. Everything is gluten free and vegan and has atleast 20g of plant based protein. Two smoothie bowls and a stack of vega chocolate protein pancakes.

Definitely look for more nutrient dense foods, yogurt for me is not really filling but has a fair amount of calories, but it has no bulk, nothing that fills me up. I know for me, eating a big breakfast keeps me going strong for the rest of the day. Also be patient with yourself. Your body is used to eating more, there's an…

5'10"! Just toning up and always looking to get into better shape. And! Always looking for friends :)

Dansko clogs are my savior. They're not cute but I am on my feet all. day. long and these suckers are the best. They are pricey new, but you can often find great deals on Amazon or Ebay. They're totally worth it. One alternative might be getting some ok shoes and then going to a sporting goods store and getting fitted for…

No one is going to agree on what is "good for you". You have to decide it for yourself. Listen to your body, see what feels good, what gives you energy, what keeps your mind clear and your body strong. For me? It's not eating meat. I eat almost 100% vegan. I've climbed across California, ran a half marathon, practiced yoga…

6 pounds in a month really isn't bad! I'd say stick with it. Maybe lower your calories a little or see if shaking up your macro ratio helps a little, but don't be discouraged.

I did the 'tiny' teatox or YourTea Tiny Teatox or something along those lines and it was comically bad, lol! My tummy was so bloated and yes...stay close to a bathroom. I was so embarrassed that I even thought it was wise.

That sounds like a big bummer, sorry to hear that. Adjusting macros can always help, more protein less carbs. I think everyone's body is unique so you gotta find what works for you. Swimming sounds like a great suggestion too. Can you do aerobic stuff?

I love it too, who doesn't? I'm from Texas and TexMex less than once a week is a sin around here! But to stay good I just order sides. Black beans, pico de gallo, corn tortillas and maybe a little guacamole and you've got a nice little meal! I always allow myself some chips too, I just count them and stay under 15 or so.

Hey! I'm also looking for a few more supportive friends. <3

I don't eat sausage but man this sounds so good and Autumn-y :)

Raw cheddar cheese and some kind of crisp apple and some kukicha tea. A little bit sweet, a little bit of protein, so good. I think this is healthier than a brownie but it does have carbs and sugar so according to previous logic it is equally as healthy, lol.

Yay tall girl threads are my favorite. I'm 5'10" 119-124, (well this week up to 127 thank you hormones). I'm ectomorphic for sure. Gluten free, pescatarian and very active on here so friend me up!

Seriously. Beans. Your new best friend. Tofu is good but make sure it's as lightly processed as possible. Organic, sprouted tofu is good. Make big stir fries with brown rice, veggies (chinese broccoli, carrot, onions) through some tofu or an egg in there. Make lots and eat on it during the week. I try to keep one whole…

A dragon! A dragon a dragon a dragon. I'm so excited.

And genetics has a bit to do with it as well. I have 12% body fat. I am training for a marathon and I rock climb and lift weights and do yoga. So I have a good selection of cardio and resistance in my routine and of course I use MFP to track my macros. But I'm not maniacal about any of it for sure, yet I have been under…

I'm not a huge sugar eater, so I can't speak to the "sugar withdrawals" issue so much. But I can say from personal experience that cutting out all sugars (sweets, sugar that is 'in' things like breads, yogurts, etc), basically all sweeteners except what naturally occurs in fruit and veg is good for me. I do it a few times…

Hi There, I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis :( I have it too, diagnosed about five years ago. There are a lot of threads and groups on here. You are totally right with your conclusion that a lot of crap is still gluten free and a lot of gluten free foods are crap. I rarely eat gluten substitutes. I just eat foods…

I can't find a child-sized running holder for my iPhone but my arms are too skinny for the adult ones.

-balanced macros -8+ cups of water per day (good filtered water) -FLORA - fermented foods like kimchee, yogurt and kombucha -acidophilus - invest in the good refrigerated kind, make sure it has several billion live cultures -warm water with half a lemon in the morn -greens and foods high in chlorophyll, like spirulina,…

I personally realized that going to the gym was what made me not like working out - exercising at home is key for my consistency and success. Definitely check out piyo, 30 day shred, etc. classes on youtube. An entire series might not be up but you can definitely pick and choose out of enough to get a variety of workouts.…

Oh haha! This is actually a really great thing to consider as I live in Texas. Thank you - everyone for your input! VERY helpful. I will set aside the money to do it up proper.

I would have never thought to get running socks too, but that makes sense.
