  • Hey y’all! I’m very similar! 34, 5’4”, 195. I lost about 30 pounds a few years ago and then regained it plus some. My goal weight is 140, so that’s a solid 55 lbs. I have a BoD membership but have not been using it :/ I saw a video of myself the other day and I am ready to not be that person any more!!
  • I used Plexus (just the pink drink) for two months. While I did sleep better at night and wake more rested, that was about it. I didn't lose any weight (actually I gained a couple of pounds). After the two month trial I quit bc it's very expensive, even for only one product, let alone the trio of products tbey recommend…
  • Yes! This will be the start of losing baby weight! Name: Kassie Height: 5'4 Starting Weight (12/1): 188 Goal Weight (12/31): 180
  • Honestly? Because no one cares about the whipped cream in your coffee. You're making a big deal out of nothing.
  • Seriously? I just happened to see this exact same post not once, but twice, on the Weddingbee website. Random that I happened to see it so many times among both online communities. But really, It's coffee. If it's usually correct, don't worry about it. It's not such a big deal to warrant rants all over the Internet about…
  • I'm another October 2013 bride! I've got about 20-25 pounds I'd like to lose, but realistically I'd be happy with 15. :)
  • My studio is closed for two weeks! We go back january 7. You won't suck! You might be a little tight and stiff, but your ability won't decrease over one week. I've done plenty of kitchen dancing myself though lol. I enjoyed having the summer off, but it was a little harder the first couple of weeks when classes resumed in…

  • Oh, there's a new guy in my office that eats a bag of chips and drinks redbull for breakfast everyday. omg. the smell and the sound. it's awful!! And he's my cubicle mate but doesn't push his chair in. So rude.
  • I went back to my ballet studio last year (12 years later and at 26 years old) and the first time I put on that leotard and tights, it was rough, for sure. I'm 5'4 and was pushing 175 at the time. A year later I'm 150, and while the leo still isn't flattering, I love dancing and it's been such a boost to slim down. I'm…
  • Yes, plan ahead, and log everything! Every little bit counts, and those hidden and forgotten calories can add up quickly!

  • ^this^ I was planning on doing 30 day shred consecutively, but after my w2d1 run yesterday my knees were screaming that it was not logical. The shred is very hard on bad knees and coupled with running could be bad, so I'm going to stick with the shred on off days, but not overdo or overlap both. I would rather run, so I'm…
  • I skipped day 3 yesterday b/c after my Couch to 5k run my knees were killing me. Those squats and lunges are not friendly on bad knees, even doing the modified version! Going to try again tonight, but will really depend on how the joints feel. Muscles are fine but I don't want to overdo it and screw something up. It may…
  • Did W2d1 last night and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I was going super slow running, but not too much huffing and puffing and I made it. I walked an extra mile after but my knees were aching at the end. Think the lunges and squats on the 30 day shred are to blame for that. It felt good being able to go that extra…

  • The jump rope part is the WORST!!
  • There is 'circuit training' in the exercise list, but who knows how accurate it is. That's what I use though.
  • I will be doing w2d1 tonight, didn't have time after cutting the grass yesterday. How did it go for you guys stepping up in running time?

  • I'm doing 30 day shred with it.
  • Personally I log the walk and run times separately. That way I'm at least as close you can be with the preset calories burned MFP has.

  • Did day 2 last night and it was easier, and I'm not as sore today as I thought I would be. Thank goodness! Didn't get a chance to run because I had to cut the grass and it was dark by then, but day 2 done. Day 3 after I get off work today! I was relieved that it was a little easier even though I was sore. My quads were…
  • Fridays will be my off days because I work two jobs and just won't have the time. I'm not sure how it will fit in with c25k that I'm doing also. Don't want to over do it, but don't want to give up either!
  • I've got to do pictures and measurements tonight. I took a few last night but the self pic in the mirror with flash didn't work out. haha. Will have to bring in help from the boyfriend. Definitely need to measure b/c I want to really know what the difference is at the end of this! Good job on day 2!
  • Very interesting. Thanks!

  • I did day 1 today and it was rough! I'm also doing couch to 5k, so tomorrow should be interesting as it's a running day! I've already got noodles legs!
  • I'm starting week 2 tomorrow. I used to run regularly, but that was years and many pounds ago!
  • I'm doing w2d1 tomorrow. A little nervous!

  • I want to join! I've been trying to get motivated to restart this thing! I'll do it after work tonight!
  • I'm on day 3 of the same program and I'm up 3 pounds. I figure we're working toward the right goal of being healthy, but I'm interested to see if the trend continues.
