  • Hi all! Restarter here, put on a stone since August and want to lose it by May, 16 weeks to do this and get my bikini body sorted! Have started a new year blog to keep track and have somewhere to ramble! Feel free to add me and I'll do my best to support you in your journey!

  • I have 2, I prefer pictures like most of you I like to know who I am talking to - but yet sometimes I do wonder if they are the real people?! Cynical I know! I change it when I feel like it, usually because I am bored of looking at myself! lol
  • Scaremongering? I havent heard anything, but even if I had I wouldnt give up soy, its much nicer than cows milk IMO - I dont drink lots of it I only have it on cereal but its done me no harm

  • 1lb a day is certainly a challenge! What's your daily intake going to be? And I presume you wont be eating any calories back that you gain from exercise? Good luck to you! I am going away in 13 days and I dont think I could manage to lose a pound a day! But then I like my food too much!
  • Thanks! I nearly didnt wear the dress to the wedding as I didnt feel comfortable but I didnt have anything else to wear because I left it too late! Glad I can see/feel the difference now though, certainly makes 5:2 all the more appealing!

  • I did it on Sunday in the scorching heat of London - my advice WATER! Drink loads of it if its hot where you are! I have 2 pieces of toast before I ran on Sunday and that was all.
  • ^^^^ THIS ^^^^ I said exactly the same thing about selling you juicers and I wonder how many people jumped on the bandwagon yesterday? Personally I know there is no way I could just live on "juice" but essentially it seemed to be just blended veg so why not just eat the veg?
  • If you dont eat out regularly then I would say just enjoy what ever you like from the menu. You can always compensate the rest of the week by choosing wisely and perhaps a little more exercise. Going out is supposed to be fun not fearful!

  • Nice idea :) For single food items I love to munch on dutch crisp breads they're like 30cals per bread and yummy with a little bit of marmite on top :)

  • I agree this hot weather is certainly helping me not want to go overboard with my eating! I did my 6th fast day yesterday and it felt like the easiest one so far!
  • I find doing something like running or an exercise class straight from work is best for me, it gives me a boost of energy early in the evening
