  • I struggle with chronic pain myself. I am working with a PT who specializes in it and the best thing I’ve found is small amounts of light exercise. I am on the whole 30 eating plan (no grain, no sugars, no dairy, no alcohol, nothing processed) and it seems to help a little. I hope you figure something out that works
  • I'm just under 5'3" and I don't want to go lower than 127. I don't care what the BMI chart says, I look sick under 127. I think it all depends on your body, how much muscle, etc.
  • I had this same issue and another MFP user made a valid point. Potassium is not required to be listed on the nutrients label on foods. Some of your foods may have potassium in them and not have it listed so it doesn't show up. Unless you are getting muscle cramps, don't worry about it!
  • I had glasses since 2nd grade and got it done 3 years ago. BEST THING I EVER DID!!!! I am actually better 20/20 in one eye and exactly 20/20 in the other. This is after years and years of not being able to see a thing without glasses. Don't be scared, it was super easy and SO worth the money.
  • Stop thinking of it as a diet. Think of it as a lifestyle change. You can still eat chocolate and fast food, but you have to exercise to earn it. You are tracking what you are putting in your body and calories you are burning. When I kept thinking I was dieting it discouraged me. Also, snack pack puddings are amazing for…
  • Totally agree with this. Most of the weight I gained was from not eating enough or not eating all day and eating one huge meal at night.
  • You look amazing! You are so pretty and it's much more obvious when you're thin! Great job!
  • I have heard that caffeine speeds up metabolism which helps burn calories. Here's what I know FOR SURE... I'm a coffee addict and have lost 23 pounds in 90 days.
  • It depends on your calorie goal. Don't eat under 1200. That will make your body hold onto everything you eat to prevent itself from starving. Then you can gain weight instead of lose. As long as you are eating that minimum amount, I'd say you're fine.
  • Keep doing the crunches and ab workouts (Jillian Michel's 30 day shred has some good ones), it will tone your abs and you may lose a little bit in inches. But, the main way to get rid of it is to keep losing weight =(
  • Ummmm, I went out with my boyfriend on monday and ate pasta and dessert and alcohol and lord knows what else. The next day I was up 1.5lbs and the day after I was back to exactly the same weight as before my binge! I wouldn't worry. The water will help.
  • I would return it. But for the record, eliptical trainer burns a TON of calories, so it may not be that far off.
  • I felt the same way. I went from a DD to a barely C. I told my mom they looked like deflated balloons. After time the skin will tighten back up. Slather on lotion and moisturizer to keep your skin healthy and it will bounce back eventually. Boobs or not, we are healthy!
  • AGREE!!! You cannot advertise 100 calorie brownies when you get 3 crumbs!!!
  • I second this. Slow cookers are the best. Plus when you put veggies in them they don't have a strong flavor anymore so they're easier to eat!!!!!!
  • You can do this! To be completely honest, I do not fully know your struggle. But, if you have the desire to be healthier, you can do it. It is a scary thought to be bedbound by something like weight. You would be handicapping yourself, when it's something you can fix. My advice is start small. Worry about just calories and…
  • It better count! I have the same issue! I'm 25, went to the bank the other day and the teller asked if my nails were done for prom. Lol!
  • I never gained weight on Zoloft but I did have killer headaches. I am on lexapro now. I found that my body didn't respond right away and I had to just keep going and going. Eventually the weight came off and kept coming off. Don't get discouraged. Even if the number on the scale isn't the one you want, you are eating…

  • Betty Crocker 300 meals under 300 calories cookbook!!! They are easy and cheap and I haven't found one I didn't like yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Now why would you feel that way when you've lost 20lbs? You obviously ROCK! =)

  • There's a cucumber vodka that is used in bloody marys, get just the vodka with water and lemon and limes. Squeeze the juices into it. It's really good and tastes like the cucumber water they serve in really fancy spas (please note I've only been to one such spa in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
  • Never heard of it, but plan to try it! Thanks.
  • Jillian Michel's 30 days shred!!!! Or any work out dvd by her is amazing. She has some general ones, some that focus on abs, etc. But even her weightloss ones focus on toning as well!
  • I'm 5'3" and started at 150lbs. I am currently at 127 lbs. I'm a little old.... 25, haha! Feel free to add me!
  • I have no idea. Maybe medium impact aerobics? Or just google it and choose the lower end of the range of calories burned that you find!?
  • Because your body is changing. Weight that was fat is being replaced by muscle. Obviously muscle is tighter so you lose inches as you tone up even though the number on the scale may stay the same.
  • I live on fruit, but nuts are also low carb and good protein. I love pistachios but they are a little high in calories. I know almonds are lower, but I'm allergic to those!
