  • I haven't seen a new link so i guess we are still using this one! I did fantastic yesterday, today I am not doing bad but I'm doing great for my water so far, but I am picking up the pace now and getting ready to take the kids for a walk down the waterfront before dinner!!   • I would love to go out early in the morning but my husband works two jobs so I home by myself with my little ones so it can't happen :frown:
  • I do workout inside I have the Biggest Loser DVDs and I do Tae Bo as well, but I'm trying to train to do my first 5K on 9/11 and so I really need to be able to get outside instead of just my treadmill all the time!!

  • Had a long and busy weekend, worked Sat and Sun 7p-3a and had my Dad's bday party yesterday......not good for my diet! I need to be better today with my water intake, and I will probably take the kids out for a walk, cause it's a beautiful day here today (finally, no humidity!!)
  • Unfortunately sweating does not mean you are burning more calories. It does give you a good gauge of how effective your workouts are but it doesn't change the amount of calories burned.

  • OK so I weighed in at 152.8 this morning which is down from 154 last week, however I'm using a different scale because hubby moved my other one for some reason:grumble: so I guess it's real but not too sure I will just keep doing what I'm doing and hope that next week is just as good!!:ohwell:

  • You are soooo right, that's why I LOVE this site!!! I did dust my lazy butt off today and went out for a run, it was soooo hot and muggy and I was slighty miserable doing it but afterward I was so happy I did!!! We all CAN AND WILL do this!! Good luck ladies!!:bigsmile:

  • I have one and I love it!! I used it a ton at the beginning of my weight loss journey, now I don't use it as often but I do still do it about 2-3x per week. I would highly recommend it, it's fun and you will seresults if you are following it with calorie counting here on MFP!!:bigsmile:

  • Doing good with my water and fruits/veggies, I couldn't workout yesterday I was too sore from Saturday's run, i am training for my first 5K and I ran up a killer hill in 90+ humid weather and it really wiped me out......then when i woke up on Sunday, OUCH-super sore even still today :frown: So I will take tonight off too…

  • Doing much better so far this week, been able to get my 8 glasses in just about every day (one day I only got 7) and the fruits and veggies I have really been on top of!   • I have a Polar FT7 with the chest strap and I love mine. The chest strap did take some getting used to but I definitely get a more accurate calorie burn with it!! I am scared now that someone got burned, how bad was the burn??

  • I think it does, I find I am retaining water on really hot and humid days, the lbs come on quick and leave just as fast so it must be fluid, I just try to stay extra hydrated on those muggy ,yucky days!!:glasses:
  • I exercise at night after my kids are in bed (4yrs and 2yrs) just like you I get interupted often if they are up when I try to workout! I feel like if I was over on my cals for the day or almost over, working out at night I can burn it off and make sure I stay under where as if I workout early in the day I have to make…
  • Yup, mine showed up the day before our first weigh in and I had a gain this past friday.....sometimes being a woman really stinks!!

I have had very good success with it and I would defintely recommend the EA Active, the Wii Fit Plus games are great and also the Just Dance is a great one that more than one person can do and it's sooo much fun!!
