link please, or do we need to buy the book?

All I know is that you build a tolerance for it the more/spicier you eat. The only damage I can think of is not at the side you put it in

To expect measurements going down inches after 2 weeks isn't very realistic, especially when just starting a new exercise regime. To put it into perspective here are two progress graphs of myself. Lots of stalls and sudden drops, it's never linear. I like to weigh and measure daily, but I don't freak out if they go up or…

Male, eating 1400 and running 5 times a week you are definitely losing weight. It is most likely masked by water retention since you just started all the exercising. I suggest eating more, because you won't last on such a big deficit. Find out your BMR and TDEE. read:…

That was my point. You were pushing him on information that doesn't exist, just so you could say "see I'm right" or some other mocking statement. Which is fine if that's how you want to discuss things  Just because there's no pinpointed range for toxicity doesn't mean you can't mention or discuss AGEs. Just debunk…

Accept that you are wrong and move on, no one is attacking you. Facts might feel that way, suck it up

He has explained multiple times why he thinks too much fructose is bad. It increases AGE and triglyceride levels. Theres a lot of research being done whether or not they cause certain diseases. To mock him like he is some 'avoid sugar, it's toxic" nut (like OP) seems a bit too far. You could say while on a normal diet it's…

I tried to run when i was 90+ kg and I injured myself pretty quickly. Knees hurt for 2 weeks. I never understood why (in tv shows etc) they push (very) overweight people to run, it kills your joints. If jogging still hurts: don't do it. I've made the same mistake before, thinking it only hurt a little bit, and I'll never…

It will make you look horrible!1 seriously though, take advantage of your age and just lift. At 135 pounds I seriously doubt you should be avoiding lower body

of course 35 carbs + intensifying workouts made you feel exhausted I'm no expert on keto at all, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but you can increase carbs if you exercise more. I think <50 carbs is recommended for sedentary and you can easily eat 75 if you exercise while staying in ketosis. As for gaining, you…

don't let them put it in your mouth

No don't lower it to 1200. As a guy, if you are not losing on 1400 net cals you need to see a doctor and rule out medical issues. If you have ruled that out, its a logging issue.

Depends on what you want. I prefer to do weights first so I can put max effort into it and progress. If I do my cycling first my legs will be dead before I even start strength. You could spread it out over the day to get max effort for both. Or alternate each day.

My first post wasn't negative at all, I tried to give some advice from my experience. All I said was that during weight watchers you were probably eating over 1800 cals including vegetables and fruit. I was trying to tell you that you could eat 2000 and lose weight, since you did it before -on weight watchers.- You posted…

Read the stuff you buy? No, blame a company making cereal. Logic.
-
That's not a sugar problem, it's a parenting problem. Again blaming companies and their evil sugar for something people need to take responsibility for themselves.

They should introduce a mandatory nutrition&basic biology course like 1 hour a week or even 1/month in high schools globally. I think it would solve a lot for the future. The question is how to properly educate it, imagine a teacher following lustig's every word teaching it. The horror. It will also remove the argument "I…

Should have known better when I read you consider sugar as addicting as heroin. Don't know what to tell you if you know everything. Just man up and do it, I guess?

You are right, if you set it to sedentary you eat some/all exercise calories back. It's confusing to use the term TDEE like you are, because it means total energy used including exercise. You are using your NEAT, all energy needed without exercise, which you log later in MFP.
-
That's not how counting works though. 1 banana is already over 100 cals, apple 75. Lot of vegetables are 20-100cals too. So you were probably closer to eating 1800. you need to log everything so you can find out how much you need to eat. Like others have said, this is a lifestyle change, don't look for a quick fix. Are you…
-
it is all over MFP, you are just refusing to accept it.
-
doesn't make your statements correct, just means that there are sadly a lot of gullible people who take random posts (without any proof) as facts. Your only argument so far has been "it works for me, so it's true".
-
just don't accept them and don't mention it everywhere? what's the point of specifically posting about excluding people. such a bait.

 Full moon tonight?

inaccurate logging most likely, especially for the last few pounds. I can fit 5 snickers in my diet easily and I'll still lose weight as long as I log and plan around it. That's the point of this site. I guarantee if you eat too much "healthy carbs" and chicken you will gain weight. Oh and meal time is irrelevant. I skip…

<3 If it helps them stay committed to their calorie deficit it is definitely helpful in losing weight.

<< imagine awesome nope gif >> And this is why we have to be 'mean' :(

True, because it's widely accepted by most people here. But there's plenty of misinformation and bad advice being thrown around here. It does get shut down quickly by a lot of people though :drinker:
