I've lost 150-ish pounds. I went from spilling out of DDD to D. I wouldn't be sad to go to C but I'm pretty sure that I'm keeping what I have now. That being said, I'm 99.9% certain that losing that last 20 pounds is NOT going to all come from your chest area. LOL Best of luck on your journey.

I love my fitbit. It has absolutely opened my eyes about the lack of activity during my day and just how poorly I really sleep.

You can do this!! You have already proved that you can. Now comes the mental part - or the hard part - as I refer to it. Embrace your new lifestyle just like you would any other worthwhile challenge.

jknox2009, I tell my coworkers that I'll have the cake with them if they go to the gym with me and do EVERYTHING that I do so that I can work off that piece of cake. It gives them some perspective and I have yet to have a single person take me up on the challenge. Now they tell me that there is cake but no longer…

I weigh every once in a while; most especially when I have noticed a NSV or realize that I have not weighed in several weeks. Just do whatever works for you. I used to obsess about the scale. Then I got a personal trainer that threatened me with making me do 50 additional push ups every time he caught me at the scale.…

The very FIRST thing that you must understand for this surgery to be helpful to you is that it is a TOOL not a cure!!!!! There is still every mental and physical hurdle to overcome with or without the band. Please don't go into this thinking that the band is going to solve your problems. I have the band. I did years of…

I had/have the same issues. I got a great personal trainer and that makes all of the difference in the world. Not only am I expected at the gym but I am able to make the most of my time there. I am now comfortable enough to be there on my own during "prime time". Having said that...... do what works best for you!!!!!!!!…

Do you have to stop permanently or just until you get your lady problems resolved? Hopefully it is the latter! I tried a Zumba class last night. I was so far out of my comfort zone that I scared to death!!!! It was a very fun and challenging class. Maybe something along those lines would help you not expire from the…

Not to be snarky but why not move from treadmill to elliptical? I burned 400 calories in 21.5 minutes last night. Just saying. . . . .

I'm going to catch that "B" and MAKE her do her freaking job that she's been slacking on lately!!!!!!!!

Seriously? And no kidding on this one.... he could STFU or get the F out!!!! His choice. Why do people tolerate being treated in this manner????? I cannot tell you how angry this makes me - at the people putting up with this BS!!!!!! BTW - no, I'm not married and not sad about it.

I only caution you to make sure that the crossfit instructors are actually trained and knowledgable. If your form is not correct, it is very easy to hurt yourself - not just with crossfit but any other exercise. Proceed.... but with caution!

I would absolutely call that a big win not a tiny one!!! Way to go!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure I would have been quite as strong or resolved as you. That is so very awesome!

WELL SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I had known about MFP before I had WLS. Probably would still have had the surgery (insurance covered) but it still would have been nice to know a forum like this existed.

If you do not believe another word written on this thread, believe this......WEIGHTLOSS SURGERY DOES NOT MAKE WEIGHT LOSS EASY!!!!!!!!!!!!! You still have to count calories and exercise, etc. WLS is a tool to be used exactly like MFP. There is no magic elixer. Otherwise, there would be no need for WLS or MFP. Suck it up…
