Not stupid at all! I researched this to make sure I was as accurate as you can be with calorie burns. So, this is my opinion - If you are planning to eat the exercise calories back, yes you have to subtract those calories. A great website to determine your actual burn instead of gross...…

Cycling... I tore my acl at a baseball game and the next week I was told I "could not have torn an acl because I could semi-walk" after an mri I was told by the doc that my quads/hamstrings were so strong it made up for the torn ligament, they were shocked. I was riding about 500 miles a month at the time.

I had an 8700 non-healthy calorie day once and the next day the scale finally went down after not losing for weeks!

I know how frustrating it can be... the only thing I can see from looking a few days in your diary is your sugar is really high. I know everyone is different but I can't lose anything if I have too much sugar. Luckily, I don't have much of a sweet tooth but I do love the occaisional coke (I know, BAD!) but I stay under 25…

Wow! That's as bad as the Coconut Cream Pie Shake I just had to have a few months ago at Sonic. It was delicious until I got home to add it and it was 680!! Holy moly!! Needless to say, I always check before ordering these days!
