  • I've done both. Turbo Fire is not nearly as challenging as Insanity. I would choose Insanity for a more intense/challenging work out. Good luck
  • There are two types of pain you will go through in life, the pain of discipline and the pain of regret. Discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.” ― Jim Rohn I really like this! I also try to slow down and remind myself what the scale will look like/what it has looked like and how discouraged it make me. Keep up…
  • I am considering Max 30...how does it compare with T25 GAMMA?
  • Insanity is no joke! Its a tough work out....modify (this is the only fault with Insanity - nobody showing modifications), do what you can. push yourself, but don't push so hard you are going to injure yourself. Even if you can't do it all you'll still be burning calories and making health improvements...good luck!
  • I understand completely how you feel! I really hesitated to get P90X, but I have also had it for years and love it. I agree with previous posts, push yourself - but don't over do it...modify when necessary. Keeping track is a good idea so you can watch your improvements. good luck!
  • because of limited space, I am using adjustable weights (REEBOX) and don't have any trouble at all making the changes. I think if one would try using the BowFlex brand it would be a bit harder - because they take a bit more time to make the change. BUT if you already have the BowFlex brand, you can always push "pause"…
  • Just want to encourage you and say stay with it. I've done TF before and you will see results. It took me 3-4 weeks before I really started seeing significant changes. Along with the cardio in TF, you might want to think about some strength training for toning.I'm doing Body Beast and T25 now and love the combo.
  • I just started the second round (finished 3 months in Jan) This round I am adding T25...BB didn't have enough cardio for me...but I love the weight training.
  • Thanks for the explanation! very helpful :)
  • Can someone explain how Max 30 is different than T25? thanks!
  • Besides the supplements, how is Insanity Max 30 different than T25? Just wondering...I've done Insanity, Asylum and T25 so wondering how Max 30 differs..thanks!
  • I have been doing Body Beast for 2 months (finishing the 3rd month the end of January). I really love the strength training, but the schedule lacks in cardio. I'd like to figure out a hybrid with T25 or Asylum. I haven't lost any weight on Body Beast, but am much more toned.
  • I am doing Tubo Fire now...and have done it a couple other times in the past. With any of the BB programs, I only do them for 8 weeks for variety...I get bored after the second month of any of the programs. What has helped me is to really stay focused during the work out...focused and really pushing to go to the maximum I…
  • I recommend taking a look at Beach Body programs. THey have coaches that you can consult with and find a program that is right for you.....also, if you order a program and its not right for you, return it for refund...I've never had any problems returning - GREAT customer service! Best of luck!
  • I am finishing Insanity this month and starting TF in June...but I have done it before and it is really a fun/calorie burning cardio workout! Gotta love Chalene!!! Best of luck to you!
  • checking in..May 15 Insanity Max Recovery I also add tricep exercises with weights and crunches
  • any chance you can give this recipe in Tablespoon/cups/etc? thanks!
  • I will be interested to see this new program too. I hear it is non stop so 25 min may be a good work out. I agree, its hard to imagine getting as much of a work out as we are used to with Insanity, Asylum or P90X. The good thing is we can give it a try and return it if it isn't what we like...that's the great thing about…
  • May 14....I did Insanity Max Plyo Intervals today (week 7...not sure what day!). Power Jumps are killers for me!!! but I love it!
  • I have done Insanity and P90X...GREAT results...the great thing about Beachbody products, they have a 30, 60 or 90 day money back guarantee...if you don't like them, send them back...no hassles. I've done that before and had excellent customer service. Best of luck!
  • I understand your question! I've done Insanity at least 4 times over the last couple of years and have gotten great results. There aren't many programs as intense as this. If you like Shaun T, you might like Asylum (there is a Vol 1 and Vol 2), its just as intense as Insanity but different - if that makes sense....its…
  • I am interested in being in the group. I have done BB programs for 6 years (TMT, CLX, P90X, Insanity, Asylum, TurboFire, LMC) I find it really helps to communicate with others who are as motivated as I am to continue the fitness/health journey.
  • good to know - THANKS!
  • I agree with other posters...lower weight will not burn as many calories....I also wonder if you should check the battery in your HRM...those numbers do seem a bit low...might be worth checking into????
  • Science experiment is correct! thanks for your input.
  • sorry this is off the op's topic...but in the zucchini cake/brownies...what is the liquid that holds it together? seems like only zucchini would be too dry...am I missing something? thanks
  • I've done this with a cake mix...but never with brownies. Any diet would work...if it is fruit flavored you might get a little of the fruit flavor, but not much. I would like the brownie recipe, if you don't mind sharing! thanks!
  • I;ve done both....CLX is more strength with a couple of days cardio and Combat is more cardio with a little strength ...so its hard to compare the two. I love both. I just depends on what kind of training you want to do. Combat isn't nearly as intense as Insanity...but nothing is! But its still a good work out :) Have you…
  • I just read Jillian Michaels newest book...Slim for Life....she gives a good idea for traveling workouts: You use 1 deck of cards Assign each suit an exercise shuffle Draw a card If you've assigned push ups to Clubs (for instance) and you draw the 10 of Clubs...do 10 push ups do this through the whole deck I think it…
  • Turbo Fire is a fun cardio workout...not as intense as Insanity - but still a decent work out. So it depends on your fitness level/goals whether it will work for your needs or not. I keep it in my "every 2 month" rotation so I don't get bored with anyone program. best of luck to you!
