The amount of meals per day that will be optimal is really up to you. I choose to do between 2-4 meals, but somebody may prefer once a day or 8 times a day.

Both will yield the best results, but yes you can with just diet alone. If you're not able to stick to an exercise regimen, then it will be very hard to stick to a diet that would give you results.

Eating less of your exercise calories should help get you losing again. Either that, or you could increase the amount of activity (cardio).

^^ Love those things! Also, Edy's makes great 1/2 fat versions of their ice creams. Some of them only 2-2.5g fat per serving..... I usually have 2-5 servings at a time when I'm really craving it.

I cannot think of a single valid reason why a woman should not lift weights. No matter what your fitness goals are lifting weights should always be included. Woman that lift weights is not only sexy, but also to me says a fair amount about her character.

Well don't use straps or anything for every set, just for when you know your grip is compromised. Personally I think direct work on grip strength and forearms is silly, unless you have a specific reason to work them. :) Yeah I never even heard about "thigh gap" until I saw someone post it here on the forums. This is not something guys talk about and its not important for women to have. Definitely not a deal breaker for me. I LOVE legs, "thigh gap" not required.

My waist is 31.5 inches and my thighs are at 22.5 inches (6 foot even). I had a tough time recently buying pants and had to go with "Carpenter" pants as they were the only ones that fit correctly. Eating "junk food" probably won't allow you to hit an OPTIMAL ratio of macronutrients. Calories aren't the only important factor when trying to lose weight.

As long as you don't drop the food on the floor, then I would consider it clean. I personally don't categorize food as good or bad, but there are many food choices that are bad choices because of their terrible macronutrient ratios. Therefore, those food choices might not be the best to utilize.

It's my experience that most personal trainers have no freaking clue what they are talking about when it comes to nutrition. Cheat if you like, but that's exactly what it is.
