Why are MFP's numbers so far off
Hey guys, Just wondering why MFP (regardless of having ot eat back exercise calories), is so much lower then TDEE calculators?

Ok so....burning 2000 - 3000 calories...what to eat
So I am going Laguna Seca (Racetrack) on Saturday. I will be there for about 12 hours. I usually spend about 4-5 hours walking around. I also carry 25lbs of camera gear, and a chair. With estimators, it seems between 2000 -3000 extra calories that I will burn. What in the heck can I eat to cover that calorie deficit.…

So thought I was getting bigger this morning...
Cause I put my pants on, cinched up my belt and was like....damn that was a little snug. Look down and I am on my next belt loop!.....was semi stoked. Down .8lbs from when I started
Well 2 1/2 weeks in and I weighed myself today (if you remember i weight on monday at 297!). I started at 292.5, promptly gained 4 lbs, went down to 293, the to 297. Think its starting to work!
Well after being nervous since starting this last week ( I gained 4lbs in very short order), my weight dropped those 4lbs and I am back to the weight I started at last week when I upped my caloric intake by almost 2k calories a day :) Now lets see if I can keep it going!

Alcohol and TDEE
Hey Guys, I have stopped drinking, save one day a week when I go out with my buddies (Friday nights). I usually have between 5-8 beers. Should I factor this into my goals, even though they are empty calories? Should I leave headroom in my daily target goal for this?
