SL Training Schedule question
Hi, Now that it is summer and the kids are home more I am really struggling making it to the gym to lift 3x a week. Lifters- why oatmeal and egg whites?
I see alot of people who lift have oatmeal and egg whites for breakfast. I assume because this is a good balance of carbs and protein? I am ok with the oatmeal but not a fan (nor do I have the time to cook in the morning) of egg whites. Anything I can add to my oatmeal to give me some protein?

Going low in squats
Ok, so I am up to 100lbs on squats so I have a question....do they not count if I am not parallel (legs) when squatting?

How long- Change in BF % ?
How long does it usually take for someone to change their BF %. I am working out 6x a week (3x a week heavy lifting and 3x a week running average 5 miles) and eating clean. I am curious how realistic I should expect a change in my BF % Anyone have dates and stats they would be willing to share?

I am never going to progres in OHP !!
On week 5 (workout 15 tomorrow) and I still cannot do a 5x5 OHP with more then 45lbs (bar). Everything else if progressing...UGH ! What is my problem?

Bulking/Cutting question
Curious question....do you have to bulk before you cut? Or can anyone cut who wants to lower their BF% without bulking? How is cutting any different then "dieting"?

Womens or Rgular lifting bar?

Deadlift Bar
In doing some bar research I just realized they have a deadlift bar. Does anyone use this? I have seen it at my gym but was never sure what it was used for. Thoughts?
