Does walking & running help you to lose belly fat at all?
Walking has always been my exercise of choice-now that I'm getting back on track & trying to lose about 30 pounds, I have slowly started adding some running to my routine....my biggest problem area is my belly....I know that I need to do abdominal exercises as well, but will walking & running help also?

My scale is NOT moving!!!
I've been the same weight for over a week....ugh...so frustrating!!!! Especially since I've been walking in the 90 degree heat!! I told my hubby this morning that I think my scale is broken ;)

need some snack ideas-low on carbs!
I've realized that everything I like to snack on is high on carbs, so I need to find some alternatives....today I had a yogurt, an apple & some almonds, but typically I will have crackers, rice cakes...stuff like that...I need to break my card addiction!!!

Do you exercise every day?
Or do you take a break for a day or 2? Since I'm just starting out, I've been trying to get something in every day, even if it's only something small.....my hubby thinks I should skip 2 days per week, but if I'm not hurting myself, I don't see the big deal in walking or going on the elliptical every day.

Question about MFP calories burned
At the recommendation of several people on here, I bought a heart rate monitor...I just took a very brisk walk (37 minutes) with my dog & it says I burned 324 calories....when I enter the time & MFP calculates the calories, it comes up with MUCH less.....which one do I trust? Obviously I like the heart rate monitor's #…

Anyone lose 10 pounds & NOT notice a difference in their clo
I'm a little disappointed...although I see some results already, my pants are still fitting the exact same :( And they were not too tight to begin with...I tend to carry all of my weight in my belly, so I'm hoping once I start the 30DS, it will help with that area.

What pound weights do you use? 2 pound....5 pound...I have no clue what to buy...I'm a total beginner, like the most exercise I've ever done is walking & elliptical.

Is it hurting me to eat pretty much the same things each day
With the exception of dinner, I pretty much eat the same things every day...I'm just a creature of habit & I'm also extremely picky...I'll have the same cereal for breakfast & a turkey sandwich for lunch...I also tend to snack on the same things-yogurt, vita top.......is this ok, or should I switch it up to see better…

Tuesday morning, it will be 3 weeks since I started dieting & exercising...I've lost 7 pounds so far......if i continue the way I'm going, can I expect to lose another 7 in 3 weeks?
